Just watched the first 2, great stuff

Only watched ep1, thought it too corny.

May re-visit.

want to watch Blackbird first, one episode so far.

started The Teacher last night, anything with Sheridan Smith is normally a good watch, this is not an exception. Netflix.

Wont disagree but I don’t want stuff that’s too demanding at times. Will check out your other suggestions 👍

The Recruit on Netflix. Similar to Jack Ryan on Amazon in that it's the story of a young CIA recruit, but it's in a lot lighter vein. The comedic elements don't get in the way of a decent, action packed storyline though, and the action and story itself isn't toned down just because it's a more light-hearted script.

I've watched the first 2 episodes and its pretty good

Happy Valley bbc

Series 3 started last night, excellent gritty police drama with Sarah Lancashire as Sargeant. Great dialogue.

Worth watching first two series on iplayer if you haven't seen it before.

Been a good two opening episodes on disgraced Labour mp in 1970s.

Portraying him as a right bungling bafoon.

Very comedic story.

We watched the first two series when they came out but couldn't remember the finer points so we are watching them again. Well worth it.

You'll be doing well to continue past season 8.

I finally gave up a few episodes in to season 7 after moaning about how pish it had become for about 3 seasons previously. I don't think I know anyone who made it through all 11.

Tulsa King (no idea what it's on, I watch it on IPTV on my Firestick)

Really enjoying it.

Sylvester Stallone is in the mafia and is released from prison after serving 25 years (I think) for murder but kept his mouth shut the whole time. The Mafia want rid of him but cant kill him as he's a "made-man" so they send him from NYC to Tulsa to set up the rackets out there. Out of sight. So he starts his new "business" in Tulsa and its all about that plus him dodging the Feds, getting back together with his daughter, and the friction/history between the Mafia in New York and him. Plus he's just muscled in on the local gangsters patch.

New series, a sequel. Justified: City Primeval

Yeah I’ve just searched for it. Shame it’s not set in redneck country but beggars can’t be choosers.

Binged all of The Great over the xmas holidays.

Comedy drama, very very very loosely based on the overthrow of Russian Emperor Peter III by his wife, Catherine The Great.

Has zero historical accuracy.
Lots of swearing.
Lots of pumping.
Lots of violence.

Great fun.

Started watching kaleidoscope on Netflix. It’s a heist story but with a twist. It’s set over 25 years and the 9 episodes can be watched in any order to reveal the story in a different way.

Each viewer order is randomised, though obviously you can choose the order if you do a bit on line searching.

That sounds good

Finished the second season of

“ The white lotus “

Just as brilliant as the first season, this time set in Sicily and the plot is about sex and gender and how it’s used . Like the first season it starts off with a death , the viewer doesn’t find out who died until the last episode . It builds up to a sensational finale . 10/10 from me .

an outstanding cast yet again and a truly awful bunch of “ gays “ in it too . I like how it doesn’t play to political correctness .

With the great Jennifer Coolidge stealing the show  F Murray Abraham and Michael Imperiola

( Chris Moltisante ) also very good

Having watched the US Office with my son over a number of months, I was after a show that my son and daughter could watch with me.

Modern Family is ticking a lot of boxes with them. I watched it years ago but I still find myself laughing at bits I have seen before.

Watched Wednesday with my daughter. She loved it (just the right side of scary for kids) and I was quite impressed with it too.

Having binged so much since Covid hit us, I am struggling to find things that will keep my attention. I have since cancelled Now TV (should have waited until all the episodes of White Locus were on it as I too was enjoying S2) and I am going to cancel Netflix too.

I still have Prime and Disney+ (which I am finding things to watch from time to time but the kids love it so that is being kept). Might try some other streaming service for a spell to see if they can fill my void...... Apple TV? Britbox? Any others I should think about?

I loved S1, the manager was a hoot - so many funny moments.

Was really enjoying S2 (the guy from Rev and his pals are worth a show on their own) but didnt see all the episodes as they were released weekly. Will catch the others at somepoint in the future.
