They've rebooted Quantum Leap - *******s, I bet you they ruin it.

Bad Sisters is excellent - might be overly long in 10 episodes but the first 6 have been excellent.  Great script and cast - some excellent characters.

Show was great, fizzled out a bit and then ended abruptly - but that's because they are making a second season.

I really like Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow but I stopped watching it after the 3rd episode . Just wasn’t doing it for me .

“ only murders in the building”

Steve Martin , Martin Short and Selena Gomez

It’s a comedy murder mystery Caper set in an expensive New York apartment block . It’s very good . Really funny at times . Steve Martin is just a great actor and comedian. Outstanding really .

Great scenes around New York if you happen to like that city too .

Watched 4 episodes and looking forward to the next 6

It takes a lot for me to quit a show but I just felt the plot was fairly ludicrous really . Bridges is one of my all time favourite actors but this show isn’t his best imo

He's still fit and it wasn't too much of a stretch to imagine him fighting off enemies.  Most of the action is in the first few episodes, then it moves more into the back story.

It hits the comedy mark massively in the last couple of episodes of season 1. And the Scrabble scene is hilarious.

Oh it’s just a gentle type of comedy which I like . I was really laughing at the scene when he went on the “ first date “ with the woman in the same complex . It’s also quite moving I feel as they all seem lonely characters who get together for company and to solve murders .

it is more a continuation of it as the premise is they restart the project 30 years later. the first episode makes it look like it will be the same premise and a bit formulaic

Narcos-Saints 8/10

Korean show but based in Suriname about cocaine traffickers ( it's seemingly based on true events ) it's very entertaining and very violent and just another great Korean show.

It's on Netflix

Andor got off to a strong start with the first three episodes.

It's gritty. It's grounded. It's grown up. Every actor is using their own native accent.

A solid espionage thriller.

DAHMER - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story on Netflix

Pretty awful watch. You feel you can almost smell the corpses through the TV.

Murder-porn. The main speciality of Netflix these days.

Watched 6 episodes over the weekend. Really dark. Evan Peters is fantastic as Dahmer. Creepy AF.

Watched the first episode of Karen Pirie on STV. Murder mystery about a historic case set in St Andrew’s. Enjoyed it enough to start in the second episode on STVPlayer.

Yes the scrabble scene was very funny and I even guessed correctly who the murderer was .

Love, Death & Robots, an anthology series of short animated productions, each in their own art style.
All pretty much inhabiting their own universes, with nothing connecting any of the stories.

Some incredible work on show.

3 seasons so far.

In a similar vein, The Animatrix, another animated anthology in various art styles, but very focussed on the lore of The Matrix films.

Came out between the 2nd and 3rd films, and is arguably better than both of them.

Inside Man BBC1.

Stanley Tucci is excellent in it imho.

Catch up on Iplayer if you can.

Its full of so many plot holes or unconvincing behaviours but its actually quite riveting I feel.  Tucci is always value for money and his take on Hannibal lector is pretty good. 😮 I even was going to cheat and watch the last two episodes on iplayer as i assumed the whole series would be on it.  It isnt.  So we just have to wait until tomorrow night.

Just finished the last episode of Better Call Saul - mildly disappointed - the last season was a bit of a mess and the plot line of

Spoiler

destroying his brother's former partner was over elaborate and a bit daft

I should probably have binge watched the last season - it might have flowed a bit better - still great TV over 7yrs and sad to see it finish.

Really good opening to The Walk-In last night on ITV.

Starring Stephen Graham, a true story on infiltration of a racist group National Action.

Set around the Brexit vote and murder of Jo Cox MP.

Written by Jeff Pope (Little Boy Blue, The Confession)

I thought the series was decent.

If you haven't seen them already, Clique (a thriller series about students in Edinburgh) and Guilt (a murder thriller), are both filmed in Edinburgh and are good too.  Probably still on BBC iPlayer

House of Dragon has slipped slightly since the cast change. Not sure why with millions invested they couldnt afford a bit of make and the use of the same cast.

Dahmer was excellent , although his neighbors character was given far too much annoying screen time. Came across as a black comedy that switched to an overacted horror for the last two episodes.

Never mind Yellowstone returns in November.

Seaside Dave

Watched the Jeff Dahmer series in 2 days then dead up about it afterwards to see what they missed and what they added in. Dad was teaching him how to carefully cut up roadkill to look at all organ parts at like aged 6. Ma took off for weeks anytime she read a UFO appeared in the sky. Lad stood no chance in life. Still no excuse for things he did. Maybe order his dad's book see what he says.

I'm 7 episodes in to ZeroZeroZero and it has been superb.

I just finished watching it for the 2nd time last night. Great show. Try to find the unedited version if you can. Bleeps were added so it could be aired on prime time.

Just started binge watching Lillyhammer on Netflix  (weird seeing Bruce Sprinsgteen's guitarist in a lead acting role  - and he's very good).

For a bit of a laugh, it's an easy watch with some genuine LOL moments.

The plot's  obviously comedic and not to be taken too seriously but it does give an interesting insight into modern Norwegian society and the problems it's facing with its immigrant influx.

The script writing is very good and on a par with any decent UK comedy IMO.
