Quite right. It was getting silly the last few races with advice on best cornering lines and all sorts being relayed.

Yeah, I agree it was getting a bit ridiculous. Let the drivers drive the car.

Some more details on the new ban for team radios.

http://www.autosport...t.php/id/115824

this certainly will make things a bit interesting.

Examples:

Allowed

- Telling a driver when he is allowed to or meant to stop for new tyres

- Team orders in terms of overtaking or letting a team-mate past

- Warning a driver about the traffic situation during qualifying and the race

- Safety warning relating to yellow flags or dangerous situations on the track

Not allowed

- Informing a driver to change any settings on his car to improve its performance

- Informing a driver about his fuel consumption and how to manage his pace

- Informing a driver about his own performance in sectors and where he can improve

- Informing a driver about the condition or state of his tyres

- Informing a driver how best to approach the formation lap or setting changes to make better start

The Future's Maroon

Firstly that F4 race incident, whoever was the one who swayed over and hit the guy who crashed should get a healthy ban...he could have killed the other driver.

Back to F1, I really can't wait for this weekend especially with all the new rules regarding what can and can't be said over the radio. The season was hotting up nicley as it was but this will just add a little extra and will let fans see more - if its the driver calling shots on tyres does that mean there is a chance two team mates could try and come in on the same lap for a pit stop and find his buddy already there?

The Future's Maroon

Cracking final lap from Hamilton to nick Niko's pole by what...0.0007 of a second, and he wasn't to pleased about it!

Was good to see the Ferrari's back having a good chance and really unlucky (again) on Kimi with him having to stop early.

I can honestly see the two Mercs taking each other out tomorrow.

What happened to Williams, pants today.

Williams were disappointing.

Ricardo to win the race tomorrow after the two Mercedes collide in the first lap.

Not quite evened out on the reliability yet, but this helps balance it out.

When both cars have been working fine, Hamilton has clearly had the edge all season.

Good race from him, especially given the issues the safety car caused. Kept his head and did what he needed to do.

Rosberg's failure might have mucked my predictor up a bit though.

From what I saw, bar about 2 minutes of tension when Hamilton was behind Vettel, that seemed a boring race.

Terrible race. Nothing happened.

That would be great to see such a big name in motor sport back in F1. (but at whose expense).

Also, this chat about three-car teams....big NO from me.

They want to introduce a couple of more teams.

Bernie also mentioned on having 8 teams of 3

That no-good SOB - he broke Hulk Hogan's heart, now he's trying to destroy F1

I read that Honda want Alonso and will pay to buy out his contract. If Vettel goes to Ferrari then Alonso could go to McLaren.

Hamilton to Ferrari, Vettel to McLaren and Alonso to Mercedes

Is that Button finished then?

Leaves an interesting vacancy at RBR

Kvyat hat the other seat.

Don't think K Mag is safe at McLaren but would think that Alonso would replace Button, he would be best to retire IMO.

Watched the full race. What happened Bianchi, heard them say something about him hitting or getting hit by a jcb?

They haven't been clear. Twitter is awash with rumours. I that's where I got my info from.

They haven't shown it on tv. But it looks like he's hit something, the jcb being the obvious looking at the scene they have shown.

It sounds like Bianchi hit the tractor sideways and slid under it, again nothing confirmed. He is not conscious according to FIA
