The trouble is the Polis and the club both say it is up to the other party to sort this out neither is fully cooperating with the other.

We should just publicly announce a Zero Tolerance approach for the next game(s) involving the Old Firm. 

 

If there is any incident or sign of trouble, such as flares, coins, bottles, or anything else thrown on the pitch, any ticket duplication or pushing through the turnstiles, or damage to the stadium, then that is absolutely it.  They will receive nothing for the whole of next season. 

 

They are impossible to police, so let's start making them police themselves. If a group of wee ******s ruin it for everyone, they can sort it out themselves knowing the consequences. 

 

They are disgusting, low IQ vermin though, so it'll be difficult to get a statement out that they can comprehend, which goes in our favour; they won't be able to help themselves and we have a perfect excuse to cut their allocation to zero for next season.

Quite simple really but it takes police cooperation as it is inevitable that small groups will kick off, and then turn up at the last minute and 'push through' (age old tactic).  Last time I waslked through them from the Roseburn and up McLeod St, the club almost had it right wrt to the approach to the turnstiles but even that day, once in you could see there was more in than their allocation so not sure how they're still managing it!

I was watching the " inside hearts" documentary from years ago and even way back then the guy in the security control box was well aware of doubling up and done nothing about it.

With only that number it should be easy to funnel them towards the turnstile and check every ticket before they get there. All that would take is coordination between the Police and the Stewards.

yip, there must be a scanner to check tickets like the ones for dodgy notes, tickets are checked twice at easter road before you get to turnstyle and thats almost 4k tickets even though their not scanned still takes time to look at them all and they manage that easily even if it makes it a long wait getting in. with the barriers up its a perfect funnell for doing it at tynie

Celtic have decided to refuse an allocation of about 700 tickets for the 3 September fixture at Ibrox.

unfortunately, with the police deciding that you have to die or be part of the government they aint gonna take part, they aint gonna assist in these efforts.

maybe if they werent spending time investigating ferrier,sturgeon, salmond, mckay, morrell not to mention the ferries and numerous concillors they would have time.

The vast majority of Celtic fans don't go to away games due to ticket allocations at every away ground. The vast majority of Celtic fans pop along to Celtic Park and watch their team win almost every home game and more than likely sit miles away from the complete rockets who are the Green Brigade and the other idiots.

 

The absolute hardcore scumbags who travel with Celtic get tickets by any means or try and get into the ground by illegal means.

 

It is a blessing in disguise for the 'home' Celtic fans who can't get away tickets that they wouldn't have to be next to the filth that is their away support.

 

If you look online at social media the people crying about not getting tickets for Tynecastle probably have no intention of going anyway they just love to play the victim card. I mean we all know how hard done by and cheated Celtic are don't we?

I hate both sets of the OF fans, but Celtic really are in a league of their own in terms of entitlement. I believe Rangers have broadly speaking took it in their stride, but the absolute indignation from the Celtic support that we would DARE reduce THEIR tickets is genuinely ridiculous. 

 

Because of supporter demand, the Roseburn is no longer wholly an away stand and we need the seats for overspill from the traditional home end. But more so, their behaviour as a fan base over the years has been atrocious and I do take a lot of pleasure in us reducing the ticket allocation for them. Sick of flares, coins, bottle, spit etc. fake tickets and biggotry. Maybe start policing themselves better and other clubs might be more willing to host them. 

 

Its our stadium, by all means don't take up the tickets and stay home.
