That was Lee Johnson in charge of his first 3-0 humping of the two he received in a week. The other being the 3-0 we humped them at ER in the cup.

Maloney received a 3-1 doing at Tynecastle in the league, then a week later a 2-1 doing in the Scottish Cup semi final at Hampden.

Hard to keep up

Shipwrecked

Nice to see Maloney still hurting from his time up here. Enjoyed his reply when asked what he'd learned from Martinez (thinks....." er, how to put the cones out and pick them up again?"). Eventually he said some bollocks about not being any different with the players even in pressure games and about always sticking to the way he wanted to play the game. Let's see how well that goes tonight then.

Is that Sean Clare in the Wigan team, too.

I would wish both him and Humps well tonight but Maloney can go p155 up a rope.

Clare v Rashford, nice match up.

I’d somehow managed to completely forget about the existence of Sean Clare until now.

For the first year or so that we had him i remember him being a bit hopeless. He actually looked like a decent player by the end if I remember correctly.

Clare has done well enough since converting to RB with us. Started OK tonight, getting forward and looking composed on the ball. Could be heading for a hard night now that United have taken the lead though......

Looked decent at RB near the end of his time with us.

Clare is a better player than some gave him credit for on here.

Thought he looked good when switched to RB. Confident penalty taker as well. Wigan got him on a free, not a daft signing tbh.

Anthony Taylor couldn't wait to give Man Utd that penalty. The slightest of contact and Fernandes threw himself to ground. No way would that be given at other end.

Clare flattered to deceive.not a defender and when he did go forward couldn't cross the ball.anyone know how many assists he had in his time with us.he was even worse in midfield.not half the player that djoum was in midfield.

He was best when he was attacking from deep. When he played RB he looked more involved than in more advanced positions, where he struggled to get into games. The issue then was he wasn't really good enough defensively. Not sure how he's doing now but was a player who couldn't really find a position when he was with us.

And to quote the BBC

McCallum is a goal machine. He's already got 22 in the National League this season.

McCallum is easily one of the worst players I've seen for us...and I saw Andy Watson. 😁

WestHam not really at it.  Poor decision to kick out.  Well spotted by the officials.

Wee Maloney's Wigan knocked out on pens in the efl trophy 😁

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Either a yellow/red for each but not one more than the other.

Can't stand Pearce. He was going on about the amazing atmosphere in 1976 ffs. 🤣

I agree, but Benrahma gave him the opportunity to send him off and he took it.

West Ham have been as I expected. Piss poor. David Moyes' sole tactic doesn't work when his team has more possession than the other.

Hope City hold out as Moyes is a weegie ***** and Zouma is a .

Apparently Pearce is a Bristol City fan. Explains why he was getting a stiffy about that atmosphere in 1976.  😐

I don’t mind Pearce, you get a proper feeling that he loves the game from him.

He was meant to have moved to Spain. Someone gave him another go at it possibly because of the World Cup.

I look forward to reading views of our resident West Ham supporters. I don't think they'll be happy.

Have a look at what the West Ham fans think of him, they probably know better than either of us. Just another weegie blaggard.
