The group has over 3,000 followers on twitter, and whilst I’m not suggesting that translates to 3,000 people will be up for it, I do think that indicates it’ll be a lot bigger than folk think.

Reckon they could easily get the full lower Gorgie end for a start. That would be circa 900.

Quite a number. Anything over 300 would even be impressive, and very noticeable.

Anyway, good luck to them all and the more the merrier as they say.

Much fun both abroad and domestically.

I've been converted from a drum hater, so it just goes to show!

I kind of like 'The Gorgie' as an identity.

Leave out the word 'Ultras'.

We should be a bit more unique.

No need for any sort of dress-code as such ... and what's that nonsense with other crews sporting lanyards?

I'd puke if our lot ended up like the Green Brigade with their pseudo paramilitary parkas, or that lot from Aberdeen with their ski-masks, or whatever.

Nah; wear maroon, sing, make noise, have fun, get us auld gits joining in, and be cool.

"No need for any sort of dress code"

"Wear maroon"

Can we drop the young team stuff on here? Do celtic fans refer to the green bridge as the young team? Doubt it. These are grown men who are having proper discussions with the club, not just some wee bams with a drum.

This. Find "the young team" to be both cringeworthy and patronising

I remember the old pie stand  it was like Rourkes Drift when we played Celtic but we stood our ground in the main.

Eventually sheer weight of numbers forced us out to what became the shed

THere as even a few in clockwork uniform black crombie and bleached 501s

Later on Mr Sifter was prominent

Good luvk to the young boys

Thanks for the plaudits Mr K. Thirty year of startin chants at Tynie has finally got me some JKB recognition 🤪

I’m loving the smiley emoji with the Hearts bucket hat. Anyone know if there’s any teeshirts doing the rounds as I’d love one for the beach on holiday. Would go great with the white home shorts and maroon sliders. Surely the Gorgie are launching their own apparel for sale? Would be a god money spinner for raising funds

Many may disagree, but running the risk of having our Easter Road allocation cut may be the only way to get this to work.

The Roseburn allows those in the lower Gorgie to be relocated to similar/better seats.

Hibs may well not cut ours, and we have a justifiable reason for doing so.

If our crowds ever drop again then it can be revisited

Made an account just for this post, which im sure somebody will comment on to tell me opinion is invalid.

Seen alot of understandable moaning about sectarian songs. I personally don't mind them as just see them as a way to wind up opposition fans, and highly doubt anyone is off to wade through fenian blood after full time. I get why people are offended by the use of the billy boys song. However, i think its a tune that brings a bit of energy to tynecastle. Why don't we bring back marching thru gorgie instead to keep everyone happy and also give us back a different identity so we can lose the diet hun tag.

Hullo! Hullo! we are the gorgie boys
Hullo! Hullo! youll know us by our noise
every saturday youll hear us from tynecastle to dalry
when we go marching through gorgie

Ive said it before and I stand by it a version of Hello Hello we are the Gorgie Boys that does not go down the racist or sectarian route is our only defiance song or chant , and to just lose it completely would diminish the impact of the crowd . Other clubs have versions of it that their whole support join in , but ours falls flat after the first line because most of the support do not want to sing about sectarian shite

The group involved have obviously had contact with the club and opened dialogue as to how they can be accommodated. That itself gives the club at least some responibilty. They cannot be seen to encourage or turn a blind eye to secterian behaviour. No matter which version you sing others will be singing "feinian". It would end to a disconnect with the club, and in my opinion, would end up with the demise of the club/ultras relatuonship. Its 2021, other songs can be sang to rile up opposition.

It was a suggestion, merely reflecting what was on show for the away Euro matches which, IMO, looked a lot better than 'standard' all black 'Ultra gear'.

.

Never in my puff have I ever told anyone what to wear.

I think your right, we should bring back the racist songs as well, brought real energy to the place.

Never mind if our players are Irish or black, it's All about winding up the away fans.

Like, if we throw bananas and make monkey noises at a player,  it's not like I'm gonna go about the streets doing that.

Racist,  secterian,  sexist, honophobic chants just give Tynecastle energy.

Edinburgh is wonderful should be belted right out after the Billy boys.

Can we all just agree that “hullo hullo” needs put out it’s f****** misery 😂

A total p*** song, and attempts to butcher it to a less offensive version are equally p***.

If you’re desperate to sing it, **** off to Ibrox and never come back.
