Fine if it's the early kick-off.

Even if it was the 8pm game, still plenty time to make that train

August? Wow!!

That tie wasn't just drawn today, they've known for a wee while they were playing on those dates.

That would be 9pm ko in central Europe.

Still plenty time. It's not going to ET etc in the first leg. Be finished at 10.50 latest. There's 3 options for getting back to Zurich.

They’re not playing at their own ground due to a concert. That’s absolute tin pottery of near Scottish Premier proportions. We are in with a chance

Yeah, Liverpool & Spurs went brilliantly

I'll admit Spurs battered us but we were only beaten by an own goal over two legs by Liverpool. We took them all the way.

Surprised you used the Liverpool game as your example tbh.

It was close, it was brutal, but we lost without scoring

I take it nobody thinks that there's a distinct possibility that Linfield will win the tie :biggrin2:

Zurich it would seem confirming game will take place in St Gallen instead, as concert at their ground the same night. 80km detour

Fortune smiling on us? Wonder if they have played there much!

Away fans can be kept in stadium for anything up to a hour on Euro nights.

They are a side who are used to playing in Europe frequently. For their fans, travelling 80km to see them play a Scottish side in a 1st leg qualifier I can’t imagine is too desirable.

No doubting they’ll be a decent side, but totally different environment to playing them at their own ground.

Don't know, they have probably been  brought up on tales of our win over Basel and Robbies screamer.

A paranoid person might suggest that playing Celtic on the Sunday between our two legs was no coincidence…

Mad times

For every time some one wants to bring up Birkirkara where we were beaten by what would be seen as a less glamorous team by most ………… what about when we have beaten Basel and Braga or won a leg against Bordeaux or Bayern Munich ………… we have almost been the Birkirkara but just fallen short against Stuttgart or Liverpool

Europe can throw up some funny results so let’s just back our selfs to win against any one we play

If we are still in with a shout after first round I'd play the reserves v Celtic. Will still result in 0 points anyway.

Hahahahaha I doubt that very much, the rest of his shots and crosses were certainly more like a Moon Raker 😂

Surely not, it’s a random selection apart from the certain fixtures that aren’t 🤦🏽

Strongest team vs every team we play at that early stage of the season for me and let the blocks fall where they may if Smith or McGill play because some one is injured or knackered then who is to say it will not be the making of them

In Feyenoord we came right out our end and into a pen with a train platform, then we were horded onto trains for Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

Trust me, in Central Europe the Police want British fans out right away.

More than likely, they'll have intel on how many are staying and where about and then have something in place

Hope so. Not paying £15 month for premier sports. Just a couple of qualifiers and Scottish League cup they cover.

If you watched Bodo smash Linfield 8-0 last week you'd feel the same. They are absolute shite

I'd say so yes. Zurich have pretty much confirmed they'd play us on the 18th in St Gallen, not Zurich.

If we're playing Linfield could be either or at the moment 🤷🏻‍♂️
