I am sure Mauricio Pochettino played for them too, as well as  Darcheville who'd go on to play for the huns.

Yep same guy.

Tad off topic but a 17 year old Eden Dzeko was on the bench when we beat Zeljeznicar 3-0

Dinamo Zagreb had a few big hitters when we played them.

Sure Mandzukic played at Tynie.

He played and scored in Zagreb, as did Biscan who went on to play for Liverpool.

Anyone know if we get co-efficient points for these 2 play-off matches?

Surprisingly hard to find out online

I'm sure the sheep got points, but not sure if any are awarded in this round

2 rooms booked at the Radisson Blu Hotel St Gallen for 2 nights.

For info for anyone looking for accommodation;-

You are able to reserve rooms, pay at hotel, with free cancellation, through the hotel's own website.

Also, you get a slightly better rate by first enrolling in the hotel's rewards programme.

My reading of this is that we DONT get points for this round as a club, however the country coefficient gets points for our wins and draws.

As a club we get a minimum of 3 points if we qualify for the EL groups and 2.5 if we qualify for the ECL groups but we’ll have to exceed the number of points from wins and draws within the group to get any more than that. In other words, a win and a draw in the EL keeps us at 3 points earned but anything better than that and we add to that 3 points, so 2 wins and a draw would give us a total of 5 points, so we’re probably more likely to earn more points in the ECL than we would in the EL

yes it’s complex but that’s my understanding from the Kassie pages

🆕 Due to our #UEL play-off round involvement, two cinch Premiership fixtures have been changed to ⬇️

🆚 Celtic
🏟 Celtic Park
🗓 Sun, Aug 21st
🕒 3pm

🆚 St Johnstone
🏟 Tynecastle
🗓 Sun, Aug 28th
🕒 3pm

We'll confirm #UEL dates and times as soon as we have that info 👍

I reckon the hold up is probably UEFA wanting to announce the dates for all the ties together and that no news is good news.

Wishful thinking from my part.

I am itching to book flights but it is Hearts reluctance to confirm which is holding me back, especially the part about the dates

Other teams in play off like Gent, Austria Vienna seem to be going with the dates drawn and have tickets on sale etc

Gent know who they're playing straight off the bat so that's why they are.

Austria Vienna have also told their season ticket holders their UEL PO home game is included with their season tickets so that's maybe why they've announced earlier.

I am sure Hearts will confirm once Uefa give the green light to do so.

Book flights where? Hearts can’t confirm the team we are playing.

Zurich did well last season but have lost their key players and manager.

Linfield may not beat them but they are over priced - will you blame the club if Linfield win??

🤣

I think a few people are taking advantage of the odds on Linfield by backing them to progress and using that as a form of insurance for that eventuality.

They lost their best striker who scored 20 odd last year. Went to Lecce.

New manager too.

Obviously still a very strong team compared to ourselves.

Book flights to Zurich. I'd expect them to win over 2 legs but we will see. I have £35 on Linfield though to cover any issues of booking but was expecting it to be confirmed that Hearts would be away first leg and there are no switches (however unlikely)
To answer your questions, would i blame Hearts if Linfield won, no that would be pretty strange to do so as they will have no baring on the outcome of the game.

Hesgoal.com no longer shows EUFA or EPL games, sadly. Any other options?

You sure? Make sure it’s .pro and not .com that you use.

Arthur Morgan

Didn't realise Zurich have Wilfried Gnonto. He only plays for the Italian national team at 18 years old 😲
