You haven't got a clue whats easy and whats not

They won their league, had a slow start this season, in truth there were no easier ties, every team has something about them, with an element of luck they could still be in the CL draw.

We will enjoy it thanks, but not with ridiculous expectation, cool :)

aye, most teams in this competition probably won their leagues, i dont care - i'm just happy my team gets to play in it. I'm not going to give myself a "reality check" because i'm excited my team is in Europe. I dont expect to win, but i still enjoy the prospect of playing a team that wasnt the hardest tie we could have received.

Folk must be booking the Basel flights, they've shot up over £130 in the last 10 minutes.

When checking out the price of travel such as flights always best to do it incognito then their algorithims get blocked.

Just a note: if booking flights today, make sure they’re refundable. Legs can be changed up until 6pm CET tomorrow. Can’t really face a new thread about people losing out 😂

Aye I'm pretty confident Zurich will win, I'm less confident that the tie won't get switched. We find out tomorrow by 6pm CET re the dates.

Donis Avdijaj joined them this season. He never showed anything in his few games for us.

Hatrick for  him then.

A quick scan online and it appears 3 other Swiss teams are to play in Conference League qualifying on the same dates.  Lugano, Basel and Young Boys.  Not looked in to locations or distances yet, but could throw a spanner in to the works.

Who cares.

Lose and we drop into ECL group stages.

Nobody really gives too much a shit if its EL or ECL groups.

Zurich will comfortably thump Linfield home and away so we know we’re going to Switzerland. No point pricing up a trip to Belfast lads and lassies

To be fair, would’ve thought the same about Bodo tho, Linfield have shown they can deal with these European wonder teams with wonder managers. I think it’ll be a close tie. Still favour Zurich

Who was the last Hearts player to score against a Swiss team? It’s an omen. 😉

At least 50 miles between Zurich, Basel, Bern and Lugano.  But if all four were drawn to play at home on the same night they may well look at it?

It really isn't, there's harder trams in that draw than them, no disrespect to Zurich of course.

I heard the trams in Basel nearly got jumped off the lines by celebrating hearts fans...Zurich trams will fair no better😉😂🇱🇻

Someone has claimed on there that we, along with Linfield and Rangers, make up the 'Orange Order' clubs...

Heieiei, first Linfield, then Hearts and eventually Rangers, then we would have dealt with the Orange Order/Protestant clubs all.

Hearts would be doable. Certainly an increase to Linfield and about as strong as the FCZ to estimate, but quite a solvable task.

Linfield shouldn't be a problem. The Northern Irish Kick & Rush League is under all cannon, spectators there are practically none, they all go to Glasgow (Linfield is the spectator croesus with not even 3000 snouts). And whoever goes down against Bodö 8:0 should be clearly defeated even by an insecure FCZ.

Pasquale for King

It’s like a travel website on here today 😆, hopefully everyone can get booked up asap.
It’s great to be back in this arena, as much as Linfield would be easier I think I would prefer Zurich to be honest.
Bring it on.

I see on that forum there is a comment about bringing 3000 fans to scotland. Is there a minimum clubs can claim of capacity?

I thought it was 5% so they will probably get 2 sections (roughly 1500)

And we will get a minimum of 1250 tickets but potentially more depending on how big their away section is
