But it does further normalise the idea of a Ukraine inside the EU, as well as help to consolidate the approach that this fight is not just Ukraine's fight but "our fight" from the point of view of the member EU countries. Basically this was requested by Ukraine at the Security Council so that any country who wants to can give their input on the invasion. Russia tried to block the meeting, naturally, but here we are.
