Wonder if any snakes from other clubs will slither out and sign for rivals.

Good move for Wighton and funny if he ended up being promoted while Dunfermline went down.

He’ll be working at a Drive-Thru MacDonalds and playing part-time with Brechin within two seasons.

An utter huddy.

Didnt he have quite a successful loan spell with them a couple of years ago? Dick might be able to get the best out of him.

Saudi to another team.   Huns bid £2m for him also.

Read a few comments from their wee manager in the news. Chat has gone from ‘he’s not for sale’ to ‘there’s not a decision to make for the moment’. Tells its own story.

Decent cash for the guy though to be fair - if the Saudis bid is concrete (sorry in advance).

It is good money at his age and from our league. They’ve probably already spent it tbf so I think it’ll happen.

£2.5m for a guy that was out of contract this summer until he signed a new deal is decent business though - especially when you look at yesterdays news.

More respect for that diving wank than Soapy and his ten tonne napper.

Aye, decent but they will be weakend by it quite a bit as things stand.

Although maybe Maloney is changing their strategy of kicking it high and long to Boyle and hoping he has a good day to something more measured.

Maybe he won't be missed as much if they change from that "style".

They seem to think they have had the best window in the world. Mostly based on getting the work done early. They will sell Boyle end of the month so the con can trouser the money. These new boys will need to hit the ground running or it’s bottom 6 for them.

Aye - as at yesterday tea-time, wee Shaun was "very, very keen to keep him".  Tea-time today - overruled.  Poor wee Shaun.

tbf, its a shorter flight back to Oz from Saudi than it is  from here for him.   Need to find a new hair consultant though.  😃

Could be problematic for them on Monday as Porteous and McGinn out as well I think. Norwegian guy they signed not looking like having his permit through in time either.

Easy Sellick win by the sounds with Porteous and McGinn already banned.

wonder if even hibs will touch him now? what a waste of talent eh, should be at the top end of the game trying to fire Scotland to a World Cup and instead he is likely to be playing part time football in the lower leagues.

St Mirren could really struggle without him. Papers touting Scott Allan as his possible replacement. Strange to replace a key player with someone that has fitness problems.

McGrath would have been at h1b5 and Allan at St Midden in the summer if their recruitment guy Mathie hadn't messed up

Feel sorry for Allan but health wise he clearly can’t play 90 mins 2x week. That can be accommodated for by bigger clubs but not Dundee, st j, st m.

He can't have any 'family issues' forcing him to stay in Scotland. Perhaps Levein could speak to him and provide explanation.

Just seen Tony Watt going into Tannadice. Sat outside with a Utd fan who I work with having 'slightly' extended lunch break.

Martinez to Everton gathering pace.

I wonder if he will want his wee helper in as a coach?  Be amazing if he walked out Hibs.

Surely you'd rather stay and manage Belgium at the World Cup than go there.

I said that earlier would be funny if he got the Everton job and wanted him would make a lot more money at Everton than he would at Hibs and work with better players too 😂 Which would leave big Caldwell and Kean at Hibs 😂
