Haha Did Klimek actually ever play for us ? I canny mind? Lol 😆 Jeso that list is grim!

Out of that list I would say

McCallum was the worst with a straight up fight between  beniuseless and tullberg for 2nd worst imo

Never played for us.

0 goals in 14 Championship league appearances this season for Dunfermline.

He had wee moments but one of many who just went missing way too often. The pressure Dunfermline are under won't suit him at all.

Jaunma?  He could only stay on his feet long enough to stray offside umpteen times a game. Most frustrating player I have seen in a Hearts jerset. Uche being the second most. Just my opinion though!😉

Juanma was a decent finisher and scored good and important goals for us. I think he got 13 in his first season which with our general record was decent.

Never understood the hate. We don’t have the funds to sign the “perfect” striker.

Worst strikers I've ever seen for Hearts are in no particular order,

Beckford, McCallum, Ngoo, Mole, Beniusis, Klimek, Tullberg, Witteveen, Nade, Sammon.

Gnando not quite making the shit list.

Add Hans Eskilson to that list.  Worse than me.

Hearts fans generally at that time seemed to like a big huddy that ran about a lot rather than scored goals.

Yes Jaunma could be frustrating as he got caught offside a lot but him and the other guy that was hounded out Gongalves where goalscorers.

I would say the Tsuyoshi Ogashiwa move will be dead now,his club have just sold another forward.

I hope we don't get caught out chasing someone we are not going to get and then end up with no one.

Ogashiwa can be this year's Adebayo.

Just a week today until we play St. Johnstone at Tynecastle. Hoping we hear about more players in/out over the next couple of days 🤞

Seems foolish now. What did we need to get him on a pre contact £300k ?

Absolutely, I don't know what people expected of a striker playing in that side. Absolute mayhem behind the scenes at that time too, the boy did fine.

I've been saying this for years.

He was quite young too when he came to hearts.

He's better than a lot of strikers we've had before or since

This is the right move for Craig and for Hearts.

He has progressed massively under Robbie Neilson (the man who apparently can’t develop players). Especially from last season where I think effort levels were possibly a bit too low because there weren’t many tests for him, to this season, his physical conditioning has transformed, he looks lean, agile, powerful and the managers built the entire new system of the team around Craig. He has risen to the challenge set by Robbie and has made himself absolutely key to Hearts plans.

There is another level in him if we can get the right partner to replace Soapy. I’ll be honest Halks the most improved player I have seen in years, I had severe doubts about him at the start of this season based on the poor individual footballing quality of last season from a lot of players not just Craig. That’s a credit to himself and to his coaches. And he’s not far away from deserving a Scotland call. Injury to 1 or 2 Scotland CBs and he’s certainly ahead of the hibs clogger that’s for sure.

I mean his performance off the bench against Dundee tbf, that had to be seen to be believed. He was awful and that was the day i wrote him off. Think the big crowds must have got to him because he seemed to get considerably worse this season after looking reasonably comfortable last season. Something definitely seemed to go wrong in the summer, was he not late back for pre season or something? Don’t know what happened but clearly a breakdown

Some of the chat on here has been bowf, pure and simple.  Big guy came in, looked OK, has contributed to a couple of big results (against Celtic and Rangers this season in particular).  Didn't set the heather alight is the truth, but the vitriol is ridic!

It's a bit like there's no one really to whip at the moment cos everything is quite rosey, so all the bellends are needing to make stuff up!  Issue is once Gnando leaves, someone else will get it!!

My guess is Gino, or maybe Beni if he falls out of form.

Juanma was excellent for our level. Unfortunately he arrived just as the overall squad quality was in a downward spiral. So he wasn’t as good as we had before him and folk misjudged him, although to be fair there were times you could see he couldn’t be arsed even keeping onside I’d bite your hand off for someone of his quality now

Don’t worry, another “worst player of all time” who wasn’t actually that bad just a bit anonymous, Jordon Roberts, is back and he can’t play for any other club, so it’s like for like Gnando out Roberts in

We struggle massively aerially when Halkett is out the side, very rarely does he lose a header.

So, so important for us.  He's a bear.

You saw in the two games he came off - Motherwell and Ross Co at home I think? - the game totally changed and we ended up under pressure as we simply don't have anyone else who can physically dominate and challenge in the way he does.  Even at the very very top level, that's very important.  Kingsley and Smith are both actually very good in the air, but both kinda "for their height" if that makes sense.  Halkett, however, isn't just about the headers, it how he actually bullies people - oot the way, you, that's my baw!

He's better on the deck than he gets credit for too, imo.

I really like him, can you tell!?

Would love to see if Moore can get some games under his belt and make that RCB his own.  Has all the tools you'd have to say, perhaps need to learn some aggression from Halks and we've really yet to see how he is positionally etc.  Worth a run if no one great to replace Soapy (if he goes in Jan).  Obv have Smudge for RCB and I really like him there, but that would leave us a height disadvantage with him and Kingsley at the back and set pieces in particular could be a worry

Roberts was a right funny one.  Another who has all the right stuff except between the lugs you'd have to say!

The hatred is always so weird unless someone is clearly taking the piss out the club.

My general thing is that football is 99% about ocnfidence, at all levels too, so if a guy isn't doing so well, there's always a good chance it's a confidence issue.  The crowd baying for him or every word on social media being how shite he is etc, won't help the guy.  And SURELY we all want our players to be playing at their best, so Hearts, you know, Hearts, the club we support, win more!!!!?!?!??  Sean Clare best example of this in recent years.  You could see the lad was a player but he was incredibly low on confidence, but fat bald pricks all round me booing his very name.  Madness I tell thee!

He isn’t interested. He doesn’t even warm up. made no effort to integrate. None of that is made up. He falls below the minimum standard which is trying your absolute best  and that’s unacceptable at this club, or it certainly should be

His player page on their website has been deleted so that tells you, they’ve done that deliberately, he’s left Well and is not coming back. No longer their player. Reckon it’s them wanting to burden us with an extra passenger wage so we can’t spend to get out of sight. But we’ll be out of sight from

that mob anyway.

Jordan Roberts, the sleeping superstar that many on here were championing last season as he did OK for well, at the same time they were wondering why Robbie wasn't using him.

Obviously a championship signing that has little use now.

Completely agree and deserves it especially if he continues his form. Always liked him as a defender and appears to have cut out the regular lapses.

The two year deal was a bit funny but Robbie obv thought he saw something that wasn't there.  Happens.

He falls in to the "why couldn't Connor Smith not have had the chance" category for me, but we obv wanted experience to make sure we came out of the champ, and we did.

Our recruitment has come on a helluva lots since summer 2000

Likley low risk as well.

Probably really hard to attract players on a year deal when in the championship on a reduced season.

Needs must.

As you say, not now tho.

Really odd how he done so well at Motherwell, at least initially. There was a thing in the press at the time saying he was struggling to adapt, away from his family and unable to socialise with team mates (or anyone else) because of Covid rules. I streamed a Motherwell game near when he first signed for them and he maybe played a bit higher up the pitch but more or less the same position.

Doesn't really matter now as the quality of the squad is so much better.
