According to a match report he had a poor game at Arbroath and Patrick lost. Don’t think he’s been in goals since then. I’m sure we will recall him if he doesn’t get games. Although that’s part of development overcoming being dropped. He had a good loan spell at Albion Rovers last season.

Fair enough but I do think it’s important he gets games at his age, especially if we want him to take over from Gordon eventually

in fact it’s not hard to see the logic. Both Souttar and Berra had picked up injuries in pre-season training and were set to miss the start of the season. Popescu had done quite well on his previous stint in Scottish football with St Mirren and was available. At that time we didn’t have the number of people on the recruitment side to do due diligence that we do now. It looked a reasonable signing at the time. But nothing like a bit of hindsight!

What an astronomical difference from Popescu and Berra last season!! Two names that give me the shivers.

I'm sure Harry inclusion wouldn't have altered things tonight. I always felt he should of gone to a part time team though, needs a run of games whilst working under Gordon on training pitch. The guy will be our number 1, he's very very good.

While I hope you are right … if he can’t even get on the bench for Partick, he can’t be THAT good at the moment 

I think he should be recalled and sent elsewhere on loan to get games
