He really wasn't.

Him and Edwards. Two players we should probably have kept.

Wasn't an Edwards fan, I liked Lee.

Neither were replaced tho.

Alex Jakubiak has joined Wycombe on loan

Wycombe have signed Alex Jakubiak on loan from Watford until the end of the season.

The forward, 20, will go straight into their squad for Tuesday's League Two fixture at Exeter, but is cup-tied in the Checkatrade Trophy.

He has previously spent time on loan at Fleetwood, Oxford and Dagenham & Redbridge, and Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth said: "Alex is a player I've seen a lot of at Under-21 level and in senior football. He's someone who I believe will suit the way we play.

"He's quick, he's got a good eye for goal and he's willing to work hard for the team.

"We have good competition for places up front but games are coming thick and fast and keeping everyone fit and sharp is a big challenge for us.

"Bringing in Alex gives us another option and I'm confident he can be another success story for us in the loan market."

A lot of people talking about Cummings on Twitter saying he might be coming to us, has there been any concrete evidence he might be getting signed?

Not sure where you saw this mate, but I think it may be old.

Jakubiak has just signed for Dundee. I believe Wycombe had him on loan in 2017.

Brentford signing Ivan Toney from Peterborough for a total £10m deal if all add-ons are hit. A League 1 striker for going that cash? Crazy

Few rumours going around Twitter that Hickey has signed a 5 year contract at Bayern. Not sure how accurate though.

Would be superb for the young lad.

Get him loaned back for a season or 2 though.

Would definitely take Cumdog as a second/third striker. If he wants to come it's a no brainer. He's got a point to prove at Tynecastle.

I have sent a message to my German mates asking if the accounts are credible. Waiting on a reply if true what a move for the young man.

Doubt he will be loaned back to us, will be put into Bayerns second team for the season i'd think.

Hmmmm. One of the best academies in the world right now, which could make him an international star in 2 years, or hang about here learning virtually nothing new and starting from scratch in Munich 2 years hence and 2 years older.

Nah. He needs to go now or the opportunity might be gone forever.

Hopefully we’ve got the fee structure right.

anyone who thinks cummings would be a bad signing in this league needs their head examined, someone that knows the club, the league and has a proven track record. If he's keen on a move we should sign him.

Not a chance he will be loaned back to get kicked up and down the park. Bayerns second or U23 team.

Doubt very much that they will agree to that. There's a reason (if true) that it's a 5 year deal and that will be to immerse him in the Bayern way of doing things. Playing a shortened season in the second tier in Scotland would benefit neither Hickey nor Bayern

Yeah my thoughts exactly. he will go into Bayern II. They are in Bundesliga 3 and the standard is not bad.

Announce Cumdog.

Yeah we would let him go for free.

Maybe a player back in return...?

All the best to Uche anyway.

Left his heart on the pitch always no matter what else

When Hickey departs that will be all of our scorers from ER last season away

One thing is certain - there will be many more ready to step into their shoes and grab a goal at Beaster next time we play them.

They also almost entirely failed to score anywhere else putting us bottom when they called the league

No sentiment for them at all

All the best to him.  Smart move to choose Bayern.  Plenty of options coming from being there, going on loan and learning his trade.

Not sure it would be of any great benefit to us either. Hickey is a very good young Scottish player with a big future ahead of him. Currently, however, there are areas he could improve his game. In terms of current ability and value to to the team he won’t be hard to replace. I’d rather we took a more long term view than bringing him back for a year.

Not fussed about White or Garuccio either but they can do a job next season. White could be on a decent wage.

It's no better than the SPFL Premiership. In fact, I mentioned on the Hickey thread it's about the same level as the Premiership minus the OF. A side ways move in quality of opposition.

Uche regressed massively after his first season. Defenders knew how to handle him.

Glad he's gone.
