I wasn’t asking about currency or how the two parts of Czechoslovakia managed to separate its finances. I’d doubt if the SNP’s policy on borrowing money is the same as the British Tory government. I know issuing bonds is the way governments tend to borrow money but, as an example, I noticed the other day that the ns&i were looking to raise an unprecedented £40 billion from savers in the next year. Wealth creation needs attractive economic policies . There is a free market case for independence . No central bank the economy built on actual wealth.
