You’ve just ruined Frank’s day.

Not at all, Daily Mail, Daily Mirror, Sun, all just make up crap and print them.

Seems highly unlikely to have any basis of truth.

Apart from the tapes he's on. Dominic Cummings wants paid.

Amazing how everything was the gospel when The FM was being attacked. 👍

£200 000 to do up a flat they won't be in much longer.

£2.6m for a now defunct briefing room.

£35b+ for a track and trace donkey.

£40m for Jenckers mate.

PPE contracts for family and friends.

Doesn’t sack Cummings on the spot for his eye test fiasco.

Jonny Mercer quitts and savages the government for betrayal of the veteran soldiers

And 128, 000 dead citizens, who may have been the starting price if Boris wasn't telt by Gove to lockdown.

What else? Hand outs to escorts as major, Brexit, anti Scottish democracy, and a £500m trade deal with Australia.

Yeah! Let's keep voting for this lot to tell us what to do.

Take back power and sovereignty, oh, sorry, not you Scotland, we'll tell you what's what.

Cut and pasted from some SNP social media site no doubt.  I'm not going to defend Boris, but I could find an equally damning list for the SNP but this is a Covid thread.

I could but I don't have the time to waste collating it, as I don't keep track of that information.

No, you couldn't. Sometimes you need to be man enough to go "holy crap he's a prick isn't he?" instead of blaming the SNP again ffs

Hopefully they spent most of their £357 billion on big union flags.

If he is proven to have said that then he has to go.

From Robert Peston

1) the prime minister did say he would rather see "bodies pile high in their thousands" than order a third lockdown (as reported in the Daily Mail);

2)  the cabinet secretary Simon Case still believes Cummings may be the "Chatty Rat" who leaked details about November's lockdown (see this morning's Times);

3) the refurbishment of the prime minister's flat was originally to be funded by Tory party donors, even though on Friday the prime minister said he had been paying for it.

To be clear, Downing Street has issued a straight denial that the prime minister ranted in that extreme way about how there would never be a third lockdown (which of course there has been).

That said, I am told he shouted it in his study just after he agreed to the second lockdown "in a rage". The doors to the Cabinet room and outer office were allegedly open and supposedly a number of people heard.

I am bothering to repeat this assertion about what the prime minister said because two eyewitnesses - or perhaps I should say "ear witnesses" - have corroborated the Daily Mail's account to me.

Also these sources insist they did not brief the Mail, so that suggests there are three sources.

If he did say it then it’s a horrendously stupid thing to say.  But surely the key point is he then implemented a very tough and long lockdown.  It’s not as if he said it then followed through on it.

I can’t stand Boris but it’s interesting how SNP and Yes voters seem to revel so much in his failings.  Be careful what you wish for as if he gets replaced by Sunak (the bookies favourites) support for both will drop by a few percentage points overnight.

There is no revelling in his failings.  A couple of posters were questioning whether or not the Daily Mail was correct about what Boris had said. I simply provided another source as confirming the report, without comment.

I do however consider such statements as being distasteful in the extreme, a sentiment that you appear to agree with.

You also appear to be the one who is transfixed by what the SNP does or doesn't do and seeks to bring them into posts on topics that do not involve them.

The gap between 1st and 2nd doses is currently 10 weeks and 1 day, based on today's numbers.

I am expecting to get notification of my own 2nd dose shortly, as my 1st was exactly 9 weeks ago. However, I checked the NHS website and found that I am scheduled for 11 May at the RHS. That will be 11 weeks and 1 day following my first, so it's getting closer to the 12 week target. It's also an indication of the current need for a lot of 2nd doses to match the ramping up of 1st doses during February.

Do you have a link for the NHS website that you checked? I wouldn't mind finding out when I'm scheduled to have mine.

Due to be going for my first al fresco sook on Friday.  Not sure whether or not to take it very easy because I reckon the most I've had at any time during the last 7 months was about 5 or 6 on Hogmanay.  Other than that maybe 3 or 4 tins during the cup final.  Was planning on having a right kick at the baw but I'm wary.  I'd quite like to get home afterwards.

It was good just seeing people enjoying themselves and having a bit normality in their lives.

That’ll do for me until Thursday.

Everyone on the TV seems cock-a-hoop at being 'allowed' to do everyday things.

I thought the STV news was a bit cringeworthy tonight
