Basically anywhere they can contain the spread except care homes. They dont exist and neither do we have trained staff. Care homes are specialist geriatric units and if they can't protect their residents i dont know of anywhere else that could. I'm more concerned about the reasons for withholding the disclosure and allowing infected people to spread the virus. There was no spread. We know this because of genomic analysis. Certain details were not made public because of patient confidentiality A breakdown by sector per region of where the infections are happening so targetted actions can be made. We don't know exactly where and how the virus has spread. We can only make informed assumptions. Our respose is targeted, that's why we have the tier system. 3 hours ago, frankblack said: Can't say we would have the resources to do it across the board, which is why you do spot checks and catch people on public transport for starters. There issues with some people wearing coverings but hundreds of house parties have been broken up and there are follow up checks on those in Quarantine. Other breaches such as house parties are a direct consequence on shutting well-run secure hospitality. Except for England apparently 3 hours ago, frankblack said: People no longer watch the briefings as we don't trust the SG, one example being the 2 week circuit breaker which suddenly changed into a tier system to keep businesses shut. Confidence in the SG handling of the situation remains high. There was no sudden change to a tiered system it was a known consequence should the circuit breaker not be very successful. Notions that this was done to keep businesses shut are ridiculous. The tier system was introduced to keep as many businesses as possible open. 3 hours ago, frankblack said: They have been shut for nearly 6 weeks. Hospitality does not seem to be the cause would be my conclusion. Then your conclusion is wrong. All places where interaction takes place are likely to spread the virus. Hospitality may not be the worst but we have made the choice to open some activities in some areas and close others in other areas. This has been done with a high degree of consideration. Cases are declining very slowly but they were increasing rapidly before the tier system was introduced. 3 hours ago, frankblack said: Any fall in infections will be attributable to other factors, such as an effective lockdown where people have nothing to go out for bar their messages nowadays. People are still going to work, school, college etc and are still engaging in some social activities. Hospitality is open to a greater of lesser degree all over the country. Do you really not understand why some areas need stronger restrictions than others and that this approach has flattened the curve while allowing as much social and economic activity as possible?
