Austerity my arse. I grew up in the 70s poor and it didn't do me any harm, just gave me an appreciation and a will to get out of it. And btw, Independence would mean LESS money and everything more expensive as it is in every small country. All you Sturgeon cultists are under a tin foil tartan hat.

So, taking country out of a larger union would result in less money, would it?

I happen to agree with you, which is why Brexit is such an awful idea; as is Scottish independence.

Tommy shephard is a good guy but so is Shelia Gilmore a good person. Tough choice.

Agree with that, would be happy with either as the local MP.

If the choice is Labour or the Scottish Nationlist Party, I would vote Labour. They have policies other than stopping the Tories

Just be mindful that in some cases, voting SNP rather than Labour is actually more likely to result in a Labour Government.

People in East Lothian voting for Kenny McCaskill. The guy that was behind more cuts than the Tories and released a mass murderer.

Correct and while I don't agree with many Labour policies they are at least up front .

This guy sounds like he would be popular with Tory voters. Must be a shoo in.

Glad I tactically decided to delay changing my address in order to vote in a more marginal seat for SNP.

Back in 1992? When the Tories got in again  My faither and his pals had a party to celebrate. That same year Party Politics won the Grand National and made my brother a pretty penny. I think that was one of the seasons when we got beat by fecking Airdire at Hampden in a cup semi (it escapes me if it was the scottish cup or league cup).

That's what I done the last time, I voted Lib Dems in Edinburgh West to keep the SNP out.

They lost my vote this time though after their total disregard for democracy

Bazzas right boot

Snp

Practical wise

NHS protection

Student fees protection

Nurses protection.

Prescription protection

Child poverty and bed room tax mitigation

Most of all.

Scotland to be a real country, give us a voice and not run and used by another one.

Boris Johnson actually hates us, thinks England is more important and after brexit will sell the NHS.

I hope I don't need to explain to my children that we willingly gave away universal health care.

Oh, and you need to work to 75 for the worst state pension in the developed world

How Tragic. 😭

I didn't even mention austerity, losing the uk's triple A credit rating, doubling the national debt and all the lies and cheering when they blocked pay rises for fire fighters.

Horrible, incompetent *******s.

In Scotland particularly, only millionaires and idiots should vote for the tories.

Check your bank balance.

Imagine being so Tory you spend your day photoshopping Abbots shoes to look like she picked an odd pair.

Weirdo behaviour and sums up their campaign perfectly. Sadly they will still romp it.

If you don't like cuts to public services in Scotland, you'll be voting for a party that will ensure we retain more of the economic wealth generated here then?

I voted for my local MP as she has been outstanding. Joanna Cherry.  If it hadnt been her I would seriously have considered Labour at their manifesto is the best one to get the UK out of the shit its in now.  Hopefully its a hung Parliament with the SNP holding the balance of power. English gammons will go mental...pleasing.

I wasn't going to vote as none of the parties are really persuading me. If there was a left leaning Libertarian party, I'd go for them but the Libertarians up here are right wing eedjits. However, since the wife doesn't get a vote, but would vote SNP, they'll get my tick.
