British teams in Europa League

I wouldn't give either of the old firm the steam off my pish, however grudgingly I have to admit Rangers winning that group is very impressive. The only positives are the coefficient gets a boost which one day might matter to us, there's absolutely zero chance Gerrard will be at Ibrox much longer and it also puts even more pressure on Lennon and his trampy club.

I hate to say it, but fair play to the Huns for winning that group.  Benfica are a quality side, and Liege and Lech aren't exactly shite teams either.  I'd love Hearts to be in that same situation.

As for Celtic:

Hahahahahahahaha.  *****.

Romalu Lukaku’s younger brother is paying for Antwerp agains Spurs, fair to say Mrs Lukaku must have had a fair old grocery bill when that pair were growing up.

Happy birthday Jeremie (if so)

🤣

It was an innocuous tackle. I struggled to see where the foul was.

Shame - for England or Holland U21s.

Everything's wonderful again. This is a 'young, vibrant Celtic team'

Are these arseholes trying to get on Lennon's coaching staff?

🤣🖕

For a team that are second top of ligue 1, Lille have been very disappointing. Shame

Disappointingly pish to be honest.

However, if it keeps Lenny in place a wee while longer...

Lord Beni of Gorgie

Getting the chance to rest a few tonight,  but the reverse at this stage of the season breaks consistency and breeds doubt with every draw or loss.

If only we were a half decent team

What does a win do?

Confuse things?

Unfortunately winning does give belief. Possible though you put someone inferior in,  but playing with more confidence.

Good though that they are likely struggling to name their best XI for the first time in years

Good to see Shane Duffy back in the side.

Decent chance of playing at Hampden.

Even better to see Frimpong get injured, when he kicked the guy and somehow got a penalty?

Pissed myself when they said before tonight they had conceded 17 of the 48 goals conceded by all the teams in the group stage 😆

Turnbull is not a bad reserve

That's my main worry for the cup final. He has some good players in reserve with a point to prove.

Watching it made me think of what happened to Walker at Motherwell that time.

Pretty much, we rightly didn’t get a foul though. Hopefully nothing trivial.

Was going to have a wee bet, some tricky ties probably go down the BTTS route

The combination of the Spurs forwards and the Spurs defence will almost guarantee BTTS in their game.
