So you missed all the good times after Admin ?

The Championship season especially?

When you say you handed back your ST don't you mean you never renewed ?

Levein wasn’t in charge during the Championship season or the one after that.

Since I began watching Hearts home, away and in Europe in 1961, we have one 3 trophies so "winning" is not why I watch Hearts! However, I handed my season ticket back when CL was appointed. Am I one of these "fair weather" fans who are "only interested when we are winning" you speak of OR am I a 'PHM' who has had enough of this charlatan?

I totally respect your stance and intended doing likewise this season I.e not renewing ST but caved in near the end. I actually e mailed the club stating would not be back under Levein but didnt get an answer  so ultimately look a tad daft. Yard stick in how dis interested the current regime has rendered me was didnt even bother turning on radio yesterday and that's from someone who up until this year had gone to most away games, the apathy is seeping into almost everyone I speak to and that has to be reversed. I had a conversation last week where we talked about Hearts giving it a good go v OF and usually getting beat but being applauded  of the pitch for a great effort but these days we never see that spirit. AB is clearly not a stupid woman but blind loyalty to Levein is killing us and whilst not a supporter of the knee jerk reaction some owners take she could hardly be accused of that if he was to leave now

I even moved seats this season and now have the six inch radius pole/ handrail for the stairwell right in my view of the park but still trying to work out if that's a good or bad thing

Of course there's more money and more attraction to working in English football. But we're well past the point whereby Budge should've done something similar at Hearts. The football operations demand a total re-think: not just in who the manager or the coaches are, but in who's overseeing it all. Hearts should have a Sporting Director and manager/head coach whose ideas align; Hearts' player recruitment should be based on those ideas; Hearts should play the same, progressive way at all levels.

You mean like Levein as sporting director and Daly as manager? Remember that’s what was strongly mooted after Cathro but Daly’s lack of experience was the reason it didn’t. I wouldn’t be surprised if part way through this season this was back on the cards and there was a transition period whilst it happened.

And if that does happen my friend then we are all being taken for mugs.

And yeh we do contribute to keep our club running - its a football club first and only

It might of ended up us playing in the lowland league or on a public park playing dugshite on dugshite covered park. Just stop and think. The money paid by Jambo's to keep the club on a more stable foundation should never become the voice of Indian givers or used as some batterng ram to back up a frothy fit. No one is forcing anyone to back the club its done heart over head. If you dont like it then stop following the side. Try the lottery or casino if your seeking a reward maybe some hand relief might help pass the time and distract you from the obsession of our club's ressurection. I'm delighted we're dugshite playing in the SPL

Sorry wait you’re delighted that your football club has become mid table fodder? With the money we are paying on wages do you not believe we should be higher up the table than we have been? Yes we survived admin etc. However that does not mean we just sit and accept finishing top 6 every season because we could have folded as a club and didn’t.

The only dogshit is your total exaggeration  and misrepresentation of my post.

So now we have a stable foundation should we not hope to have a decent side on the park? otherwise what is the point of the fans sacrifice?

Surely we are football fans who want to see our team doing as well as possible(within budget).

Should we not question the people in charge (of our money), if we feel it is not being prudently used.

The only person demonstrating a frothy fit is you, in the crass terminology in your reply, normally associated with the hard of thinking.

What will Ann Budge's legacy be?.......Plaudits for putting the club on a firm financial footing, great development and infrastructure.....All fine and noteworthy. Now the sad bit.....Failure to identify, deal with the main product of the club....The football!

Ann, you conned the fans when you said after trying for 4-weeks to recruit a new head coach "How silly of me, we had the right man here all along, Craig Levein!".....How many sensible people genually believed that as an open and frank comment?

Then we get her latest soundbite on the BBC...just in the lead up to a difficult away game in Glasgow......Is it a deliberate snipe at the fans?

There seems to be some siege mentallity at Tynecastle with the owner protecting those who are most culpable, yet seemingly happy to attack her paying public in an underhand fashion.

Ann you are culpable for the downward spiral in the football department. Your apparent lack of ambition on the footballing side of the business will see your popularity fall.....What will it take for you to see where the biggest problem lies?

Does it start when the support start screaming out your name more that Craig Levein's?

6th is better than 7th. Yes I'm delighted to see Hearts be brutal totally inept ran by incompetent individuals ruining all my fantasies of greatness. I'm even more delighted that many Jambo's on here hate detest Levein Budge and Co. It's the greatest time ever supporting Hearts. Sad way to support the side. Anyways sarcasm aside. I'm the same Jambo followed Hearts no matter what league we played in . Seen Mercer Robinson Romanov and now Budge put their reputation funds and life's on the line trying to live out with our means. 1979 pink news crowds were 6-8k or abouts pretty much most of the present FOH contriuters. Yes we want our club to be turning over side's but to have the funds to pay proper wages then you need outside incomes ie assets these pay the deb ts allowing us to borrow against our profit expect actions. Its time £10M was spent on the First team upgrade to take us up another level. Just whine away if you like you can also poke at me . I'm here for you when you need me Jambo

She's certainly not turning the "more sensible" fans against her. Anyone with an ounce of sense can see what a great job she has done and continues to do.

As for the "blanket section closures" - the fans in that section were warned about their behaviour. They didn't listen, still acted like thickos and saw their wee gang shut down for a game or two. I hope she continues with this hard line stance against I'll behaviour and sectarianism.

Are you suggesting everyone in that section deserved to be moved?

And what about the section of the main stand where the coin was thrown from at Neil Lennon

The next old firm game at tynecastle no doubt well sell a full roseburn stand to the away team

An element of self policing should have taken place when the warning was dished out. It didn't happen, so it was closed. If it happens again the section will close. It's really not hard to understand.   It's been a regular hotbed of stupid actions which is why it shut down, unlike the coin incident from the main stand. That, thankfully, was a one off.

As a benchmark,  do you think Hibs, Aberdeen or the OF fans would tolerate successive 6th place finishes. No. Their fans would make it known loudly and clearly that the manager had to go. We, on the other hand, would still be hypnotised into believing the garbage spouted by Levein every single week, supported every step of the way by Budge.

The second category Bob, same as myself. When you read comments like "he'll be here as long as he wants to be" or "fans just need to accept the reality that he's going nowhere " then you realise how staggeringly poor our governance structure is; allowing one man to run the entire footballing side of the business and being, in practice, accountable to no-one.

It's always a 5 year plan with Levein; we're on the cusp; once we get everyone fit; etc etc. I would like to hear more from AB about this fantastic infrastucture, in detail, that Levein is building rather than just cheap soundbites, in an attempt to defend him. The Academy was up and running anyway, in a partnership with Heriot Watt, and had been churning out quality players well before Levein returned. More investment was needed and AB provided that. As for the exceptionalism that she alludes to: where is the evidence?

There is no evidence.  The academy was doing better before Levein came in.  Players like Patterson, Walker and Nicolson were already first team regulars.  We have had little success since.

She said she will start selling back the seats in the Hearts fans area, but will reconsider dependent upon behaviour.

Despite what she said many got all hysterical and read it as the opposite.

The Lennon point is valid, especially as twice albeit nearly half a decade
