Levein set up right, they’ve scored from a (yet another) moment of madness from Zlamal and a brain fart by Dikamona. Don Robertson has had a shocker. They should’ve had a penalty early on, followed by Mulraney later in the half. Hickey (deservedly) saw red for two yellows, yet Ferguson didn’t despite two clear bookable offences - the second was on like 52 minutes. Cosgrove will be offered a two match ban for kicking Halkett but it doesn’t help us at all. Start the season as we mean mean to go on. Souttar off injured and a shocking refereeing performance. But I saw enough that I think we will win against them at Tynie, and we'll do better with a fit Naismith and Washington in the side to support Uche. I'm more optimistic for this season than I was 90 minutes ago despite the loss. What I would say is Levein needs to make some big decisions regarding Berra and whether we need to look for a new goalkeeper. A naive moment from a teenager who up until that point had been playing like a man of 25/6 years of age, meant we were up against it after that. Aberdeen are mediocre to shite. They have good players in the keeper, Cosgrove, Logan and Gigantor. The rest is utter shit. The Irish lad is utter pish. If we do better with injuries this season, then we will finish above them. **** all to fear from that shite. The difference when Naismith and Washington came on was stark. We need a very good keeper and a very good midfielder, but when they come in, we are all set. First goal a mistake between our goalie and defender, 2nd goal hickey or dickemona 2 stupid mistakes 3rd goal hickey being sent off and being the man down cost us. We can take plenty from our 2nd half performace though. Pretty gutted but game time for a few of our players coming back from injury. What Hickey was doing I do not know but that comes down to inexperience. He will be feeling even worse about it now that we lost it. Hopefully Aidy White steps up and makes him work for his place back. I actually can't believe how laughable Aberdeen fans are. They are a glorified rugby team yet bleet for every single non-tackle.
