Does some things well, in Lee's case set pieces, but doesn't impose himself enough on games. I'd be fine with keeping him but feel we could also use Cochrane or Andy Irving instead of him. Cochranes young but will have nowhere near the input Lee contributed last season with 18 goals. Do you think if Harry had the same amount of game time as him last season he would have contributed as much? As I said Harry is still very young and levein knows he’s needs time to develop and hopefully if he can stay fit can push him on to an extra 15/20 appearances for the season ahead. How convenient that would be eh Pretty much everything positive took place in the first quarter of the season. If we based who we want to keep on what happened after then we would be lining up with Mulraney in his own.

Should we ditch everyone else too (including Levein)? He struggled after a while, I don’t know why. Perhaps he needed Naismith making the kind of runs that created space because he isn’t the quickest with the ball at his feet. He looks up and sees Clare 30 yards away and half asleep? He clearly needs better players around him to perform and maybe this will happen with Naismith, Uche and Walker playing. We cannot afford ford to keep bombing players out season after season. We need to work on them.

Levein recognised he was limited though as he basically said that Lee needs the right type of attacking players in front of him to be properly effective - I presume from the start of our season this means movement, runners and wide players with pace. It looks like he will have that next season. And he’ll be used to the league and most of the players. On his stats alone however if he is to leave we should get a fee for him. Scored a few goals and involved in 18 others.Like everybody else I think he suffered from the horrendous injuries we suffered. He is not a an all energy grafter but the guy can play football

He's a better player than some would have it. He's been a bit of an easy target for those following that great Tynecastle tradition of having to have a whipping boy in our team to have a go at. daftie
I think Andy Irving is probably going to be the pick of our current crop. I think hes going to possibly be better than Cochrane, Morrison and McDonald. The other thing going for him is his physique. He is a big lad for his size. I hope the others above still turn out to be good for us, but I genuinely think Irving is the one who might really make it to the top. Jason Holt was to be the next big thing and where’s he now? Sam Nicholson? Jordan McGhee? I’m not saying he won’t be a good player, but it’s madness to think we don’t need Olly Lee because we have Andy Irving based on 7 games for Hearts and a loan spell at relegated Falkirk.
