Wallace should be cutting Trumps mic when Biden tries to speak. He's just going to constantly interrupt.

I’ve already reached the stage where I wish Biden is a young fit man that could walk across the stage and punch the ***** in the face. And then keep punching.

I do remember when Democrats were worried if Sanders got the nomination Trump would label him a socialist. And now he's saying it about a guy who's farther right than Reagan.

I'm not doing shit for the Republicans. The Democrats are. And do.

Every decision in life is measured in costs and benefits. Biden is closer to you than Trump is. Get behind him and then, if/when he gets in, put pressure on him to deliver the policies you want. Many of us would like to see Bernie in there but he's not one of the choices that remain.

The Republicans will be trying very hard to put the left off voting for Biden by promoting the views you have been espousing. Don't do their job for them.

Democrats have already done that job for them too.

So no. Your false dichotomy is shite, and you telling me not to tell it like it is on a Scottish football forum is the height of silliness. It's pretty much the same as claiming opinion shaming will stop people from voting, so thanks redjambo, that's one less vote for Joe Biden, well done mate.

You want Biden to roll over to this narcissist?

We (I) know what he would have claimed about Bernie, also figured out he would use the same "argument" about "sleepy Joe".

Anyone , and that almost includes me, would be preferable to this self-serving, nepotistic, wannabe dictator.

Enjoy the debate.

Intrigued to learn you know my mind better than I do.

Enjoy indeed, the nerve of me daring to demand something better than this pile of shit for the country of my birth.

Oh, we all want better, but you only have two people to choose from at this point in time. And I know which one I would vote for if I were American. I certainly wouldn't be spending more of my energy dissing the challenger than the incumbent.

Have to laugh at him claiming they've had no problems at their rallies.

Herman Cain would like to have a word, but he's six feet under

Feel I'm watching something different. Trump is more than holding his own. Biden needs to just ignore him and get his own message across.

J, it's your country but surely reality tells you one of these septogenarians is miles better than the other spoiled septogenarian, man-child.

If you're that concerned, I'm sure the Biden campaign could use its first phone banker of the campaign, since literally every shitlib I've ever encountered has done exactly what you're doing—voter shaming instead of trying to energise people.

Keep it up though, definite winning strategy

Yeah.  It doesn't take even an amateur psychologist to see it.  It's ****ing scary.

**** America.  They deserve Trump and his family.

Did you see the Trumps as they walked in.  None of the womens faces moved die to the amount of surgery.

Yes, I can't wait for the guy who won't tweet mean things to do as bad or worse things to immigrants, people dying of preventable and untreated disease, and gifting trillions in tax breaks and bailouts to corporations.

Reality can **** off, regardless.

I agree with your last bit, but the only thing he's holding (with great difficulty) is his temper.

That kind of smugness is exactly why Hilary lost the election and led us to this point. Trump is a disaster but the Democrats are complicit in this.

Biden is getting very close to telling Trump to **** off.

"You're the worst president America has ever had" amounts to the same thing.

Trump paying $750 in tax should have been an open goal for Biden, but neither he nor Wallace pushed him when he lied about it.

They can't, there is currently no paperwork to prove it. The NYT need to publish if if they have it which they say they do.

Biden is hopeless. So many opportunities. Trump says he doesn't want to pay taxes. Taxes pay for military, hospitals, etc and Biden didn't ram it home. So frustrating.

"phone banker", "voter shaming", "shitlib"

You've lost me there now, Justin. Must be American terms, I've genuinely never heard of any of them, although I assume they're not particularly complimentary. :)

The Democrats will only win this by forgetting their divisions and getting behind Biden, no matter how pissed off they are with him being the remaining choice, getting Trump out, and then using activism within the party and in Congress to influence Biden's actions in order to try to achieve the policy that they want. In the meantime, the left should use the Presidential term(s) to build its grass-roots support so that it can propel a more suitable candidate to the fore the next time around.

But no, far better to just have a go at Biden before he takes on the Trump in the forthcoming vote. Yeah, that'll show 'em.

It was the same with Clinton the last time round. I don't get it to be honest. Are the Democrats afraid of a good verbal punch-up?

:spoton:

And all they've done this entire campaign is attack anyone to the left of them, just in case they might be able to appeal to those three Republicans thinking about not voting for Trump . . . who probably just won't come out.

They've learned nothing

Not nasty enough.  Or they have humility and humanity.

Narcissism is a great trait for a politician.

Indeed. And sadly many people interpret it as strength.

Biden never said super predators. Hillary said those words. And when she said it she wasn't describing anyone as a super predator. She was saying others were painting young blacks as super predators.
