I suppose it didn't help that his first two seasons back the whole team was terrible. Some great moments in his second spell right enough - double at Easter Road, goal against Atletico, winner at Pittodrie for our first come from behind win in the league in about four years. I was at Killie and he was outstanding for the 15 min or so he was on the pitch before his injury. I think it was knee knee ligaments if I remember rightly. Seemed like his injury killed his pace so he had to play as a no 8 after he came back and was a completely different player to the one who used to go by three players and bang them into the top corner. Heres Rixxy
I just checked my own question. Hasn't scored since 30th Sept 2017. Last played 17th March 2018.

Sow had his time with us, he has gone elsewhere, has failed to reproduce the same goal ratios for them and we now have three forwards in Ikpeazu, Lafferty and McLean who we can interchange game wise to counter any of the sides we will play in the league/cups and another due to arrive in January should the possibility of losing one of the first three mentioned come the end of this season. VivaObua
Always seemed to play a couple of games, be getting back to where he was pre injury and get a knock. Looked good in the championship and his wee flick at stenhousemuir was special but not for me now.

There were folk on here claiming we shouldnt go back for rudi or berra imagine. If Sow is fit he coukd play in our team.. I doubt hes fit

A_A wehatethehibs
Sow was a good striker for us but right now there are very big question marks over him. Could probably do a job, but for me a downgrade from Lafferty so if that’s the level of replacement just don’t sell lafferty.

Escobar PHM
We need a centre half and a couple of other wee bits and pieces before we go signing a striker we'd have to work hard on to get back to his best. Not for me. Just get Vanecek in now and put all this to bed.

I can't understand why Levein wouldn't like him. Was a great finisher and had a bit of dig about him as well. I remember the cowdenbeath 10-0 game, he came on and was determined that he would get a goal, which he did. I don't see anything wrong with the fans wanting a favourite to return, like rudi, robbo and berra have all done and they turned out alright! HillmanHearts
Osman had a 2 or 3 month spell for us when he was awesome. But let's be honest he wasnt great for 60% to 70% of the time he was here.
