Statto
This seems to be another great signing. There was a few big English Championship clubs offering him contracts according to reports. It gives us a bit more depth on the right, I've read he can play right mid, right wing back and attacking midfield. He's only 21 and on a three year deal so plenty time to develop and get even better.

cosanostra
Wondering where he'll fit in. From yesterday's team, would we drop Djoum, Lee or Morrison? I think Lee is safe as he sits a little deeper. One of the other two most likely. My gut feeling is that he'll be wide right.

boag1874
Its harsh to drop anyone from the first team atm, but you have to imagine he’s coming to be a starter. The ammount of competition for places now in what was our weakest area of the park is astonishing. Dont play well and you could be straight on the bench. Wonder if we’ll see Bozanic go out on a short term loan to one of the other teams in the pack like Burns & Edwards have?
Rods
14 hours ago, Jammy T said: Was there not some sort of chat that the development fee for Dembele was likely to be something ridiculous like £8m? Celtic got him for £500k. I dont know how the calculations work down south but say Clare would demand a development fee of around £5m. There is no reason whatsoever - with Craig’s connections in the game - that there hasn’t been a deal struck whereby we have either an agreement with Swansea, for example, that we get him for a season and they have first option for him for let’s say £3m. Or alternatively that we have done something similar with Lafferty (you can leave after season one if you want) and said - we can give you a great platform and we’ll put a reasonable buy out clause in your contract that will make you cheaper for an English team to buy than at the moment so you can prove for a year you are over your injury and when you do you’ll get better wages than you would at the moment. But you’ve got to give us a season at least. It seems as if we are being quite ‘canny’ with how we set up our deals these days. This I was also thinking the same for Olly Lee and potential Mitchell in the future.

Jodami
Incredibly exciting signing, he's a gamble but the fact he chose us speaks volumes for where we are right now. Building a decent squad in a sustainable financial business model takes a lot of skill and a wee bit luck that the pieces fit together. The atmosphere and team spirit at the club seem to be really helping that happen. Well done to everyone who has made this happen.

Scnorthedinburgh
I think Aberden have done the league a great service with their performances against Burnley. Since their games English players seem to be more open to comming here on loan or permanent. Knowing that a good season here can be held against how hard Burnley found it to break down Aberdeen.
