I attended there as the van driver for the third section which covered the south west area of A Division, a strange location for me. A good going fight at the Captains Cabin at closing time, and I saw a few of my Niddrie brotherhood involved. The polis were not doing too well so I locked the van and headed for the front lines. As I approached one of the Niddrites shouted "hey its big blue eyes lets go" and they went. I felt so proud it was like I had received the Victoria Cross or something.
