I suppose there is a bit of a question mark on Charlie because he was never exactly svelt, but he’s been playing at a very high level for years and must surely be fit enough to play up here still? He’s extremely good with the ball at his feet and he has a footballing brain that you would expect to help him not have to charge around like a dafty anyway. Given that he's still getting a game for Stoke in the English premier league then I'm pretty sure he'll be able to hack it in Scotland. Not fussed about Alan Hutton as we have a plethora of right backs but Lee Wallace would be a decent signing if he's over his injury problems. Even if we could get Mitchell back, which would be fantastic, then experience tells us that we need at least 2 left backs and Wallace can also play centre back in a 3 or a 4.
