Greedy_Jambo
Personally, i think Mclean is a bullshit signing. I'm not going to lose my shit over it though. It will be interesting to hear what Levein has to say about him.
kila
Folk freaking out over signing MacLean when the top six games haven't even started yet. He's hardly going to be our marquee signing this coming window ffs! He looks a good fit to be backup and be more involved in coaching, perhaps starting off with the younger age groups. Spencer
No problem with this signing at all. Good pro and gives us an option up front. Adds depth where we are short Presumably doesn't compromise main summer activity
Cruyff Turn
Again, Stevie Maclean coming on as a sub, filling in for injuries, playing against the lesser sides in league and cup, using his experience to coach the likes of Keena, not a problem, been there, done it, got the t-shirt and he's not exactly going to be on megabucks. Probably a smart signing by CL. We need 4-5 strikers, Lafferty, Naismith, McLean, another striker and Keena, that would be a superb amount of options. The biggest problem at Hearts this season has been left back and midfield (central and wide positions). That is where we really need 'marquee' signings. Debut 4
This is going to sound daft as it could be anyone. My Sis-In-law works for a taxi firm at the airport, she spotted Levein and McPhee during the week saying goodbye to a black lad as he got out his taxi. McPhee in particular gave him a hug and handshake. Maybe someone who's had a look around our premises?
