Are we expecting an answer tonight?

The cheese board has just come out.    Maybe another couple of hours.

Then it's coffee.

They would probably call that Fromage Anglais in France.

You can ignore the 22nd May date as her deal ain't passing. They have basically given us until 12th April to sort our shit out.

On the plus side I've found out today that I've got a chance of getting a Serbian passport.

Surprising what counts as good news in these times, I never saw that coming!

A Tory loyalist robot and Brexitmaniac Peter Bone on Newsnight.     These people have nothing of any value to offer.      A waste of time.

100% nailed on a disorderly Brexit on the 12th as I'm due to fly out to France on the 13th.

Then again if flights were grounded I could go to Hampden ?

I read earlier that there were 2 or 3 other petitions that raised multi-million responses.

Bots have usually played a part so I think most ever is in terms of "legitimate" signatures. It was extremely unreliable in years gone by as there was no validation required. Now it is just clicking a link in an email which it wouldn't take long to write a script to do.

EU leaders have agreed on a plan to delay the Article 50 process, postponing Brexit beyond 29 March.
The UK will be offered a delay until 22 May, if MPs approve the withdrawal deal negotiated with the EU next week.
If they do not, the EU will back a shorter delay until 12 April, allowing the UK time to get the deal through or to "indicate a way forward".
The UK is due to leave the EU in eight days, with or without a deal, if no extension is agreed.

From memory the highest ones were for Trump to be banned from making a visit to the UK and another Brexit related which wanted to ensure there was a %age threshold for the referendum to be valid.

How can they spin this for another go at MV3? There's surely nothing changed?

I think John Bercow will allow another vote.

But he stopped there being a vote this week.

He explicitly said it would require a substantial change to the motion.

Surely just an extension isn't enough? That changes nothing.

2 extra weeks for No Deal preparations.

Good for those of us who need to stock up on frozen meals etc.

Is there genuine concern for food prices rising?

Well at least i will get to New York and back before the 12th.

This means we have V3, V4, V5 of her deal until then....oh good.

it puts the ERG in a tough spot, so they say no to May’s deal hoping to get no deal but run the risk the EU on April 12th say **** it your now on EU elections and its a 2year extension and their goes Brexit.

Tariff reductions already announced seems to be trying to avoid supply and price issues.

But we can't know till it happens with lots of unknowns.

They'll start a new parliamentary session and pretend it has nothing to do with this shituation. And the great British public will ****ing moo and keep voting Tory.

Things will get extremely ugly if something like that happens. People struggle enough as it is!

I said all along that we'd still be in the EU come 30th March, no deal was too mental to be a reality and we just didn't have the time to put the logistics in place for a hard Brexit.

I didn't think it would be such a short extension though, I'm starting to worry that no matter how mental and self harming no deal is, it might be the new impending reality.

It happens pretty much once a year, the last time was last summer IIRC - it's not unusual to drag the queen out of her w@nking chariot once a year.

I just can't see any other way they'll get it to a vote, and it'll get to a vote by hook or by crook IMO.

(Can't believe w@nking's censored by the way! W@nking?!)

Indeed. However if the momentum to revoke grows massively then it could well make a second referendum the best way out of this mess which would be the best thing IMO.

I hope this goes on for as long as possible. Mainly as it keeps Katya Adler on my tv every day.

Can I recommend pornography? I reckon you'd love it.
