As you know from last year, early rounds can be tough simply because the season has not yet started whilst opposition can be mid season.

We went through though and have beaten teams we were not expected to.

 

I'm expecting us to beat Siroki Brijeg or Ordabasy, but it will be tough just because it's our first competitive games of the season.

 

Less of the "Scottish football is shite" and lay the blame squarely at the clubs who fail to perform.

 

SevCo were shit and it was a Carlsberg night last night.

We've (Aberdeen) made progress in those three years which the facts are indisputable.

Aberdeen 2014/15 coefficient = 4.580

Aberdeen 2015/16 coefficient = 5.460

Aberdeen 2016/17 coefficient = 6.785.

Improvement is improvement, better than what we, Saints or Rangers have done recently. I find it hard to knock any progress in the backdrop of a general decline.

 

If you do not  want to  slag of teams  on the principal that it is ironic to slag teams that are better than us, then fair enough. Pretty dull tho, you'll not get much joy in ripping  Hamilton or Ross County, hibs you might.

Rangers last night is the worst result in Scottish (European)club history by a distance. Ours against Birkirkara is up there in the top 5 or 6 but it pales into insignificance compared to last night.
