I think that AB has had a number of changes to her original thoughts about what she wanted. It is always easier to make changes once you see the completed building. It is a big project and always difficult to try and envisage how the final thing will look and comply with what was planned. Things change and she will be trying to maximise the revenue streams wherever possible to make the best use of the space available.

campbell
Why are we so caught up on the capacity, we don’t fill it just now, I would get the point if it sold out week in week out and there was a massive season ticket list but there isn’t! Yes things could have been done better but look at the results we’ve just posted over 1m non match day revenue, surely that is far better than ohh we have a bigger stadium than you! Look at what Aberdeen rake in with 14k average crowds, we need to look at maximising other revenue streams not having a stadium with a couple of thousand empty seats just too boost our egos Edited June 26, 2019 by campbell

Seats gained perhaps by the section they were in originally being available for normal punters, and the Sky Lounge will sell better when the prawn sandwich brigade are sat by the directors. It is stuff that we all spotted in the original plans though - when we were guessing capacity I assumed there'd be an entrance in the middle top for directors so for my mockup I had a stair a few rows deep middle top. Seemed the most logical place for them. Cannot understand who thought the current setup was fine, but I'm aware JC didn't exactly get full marks for his efforts.
