Got 17.6 on now and scrubbed my relatively good add ons.

Give me the 4 or 5 best ones everyone is using now. The best Covenant replacement too please. Anyone try Rebirth?

AFTV box/stick with Kodi 17.6 and sportsmania, credit card payment option.

Terrarium tv loaded to AFTV box direct and all run through IPvanish, all is good.

Terrarium tv for all films, box sets and documentaries.

Very good instruction on troypoint.com to set this lot up, good luck.

Guys

I've got my old man a firestick for Xmas and have put terrarium on it.

But I've got a question - how do I create a shortcut to the app so he can quickly click on it from the home screen? Rather than have to go thru the settinga which I seem to have to do just now.

Cheers

If you load it up once or twice it should appear on the main screen on the recently used section near the top.

Press and hold the home button/wee house shape on the AFTV remote, the app facility should appear, highlight the the app you want to move and press the lines button on the remote and it will give you options.

If you have a look at Troypoint.com, all the tutorials are ready available and very comprehensive.

Terrarium tv is what your're looking for, not Terranium.

Ok pal. I used to use SEO Michael a fair bit. Thanks for the pointers.

Anyone tried the Pyramid add on for Kodi?  I've installed it as a back up for Covenant, it uses a different repository.  I had a quick look after installing it and it worked alright, just got to get used to the different layout and categories,

Also, real debrid account linked to terrarium tv for elimination of buffering issues.

I have just bought a fire stick, wouldn't have a clue how to install kodi, friend of a friend is going to install it for ?25, is that the going rate for something like that?

Also what can I expect from kodi, do I get live football streams etc?

Just saw this and can't believe anyone would charge £25 for installing Kodi. I'm doing it all the time for friends and neighbours and wouldn't dream of charging. (I was given a bottle of whisky and box of chocolates a while back and felt guilty taking that. Though I don't drink, and I was diagnosed  with diabetes almost 3 years ago, so I gave them away haha.

Anyway, I digress :-)

I usually put Sam's Easy Tiger on Kodi plus some other add-ons, also separate from Kodi put in terrarium TV, Mobdro, Tunein radio, and a speed test, plus whatever comes to mind.

ps as a side note my doctor told me today that I don't have diabetes now, but I find that hard to believe. I might have it under control and my blood sugar is normal, but I just can't go and have a big bowl of ice-cream, for instance. Still, good news is good news :-)

Anybody on here still using Ace?

Accepting no new business and taking down their social media presence.

Been using Ace for over 3 months now and renewed it for 6 months and, mostly, it's brilliant. I dumped BT, got Plusnet for the broadband, and now use freeview and Ace. Have kodi too.

I think I'll go back to Ace, I really don't want to spend bitcoin on Mania.

I asked them if I was to pay an old invoice from when I let it lapse, would the service start - they confirmed it would. I like Ace, you get porn.

Don't think you'll have any regrets going back to Ace. I just use IPVanish for the football.

Have used Ace TV for the last couple of months. I generally use it through the smart tv app on the telly, but sadly Virgin block it completely when the Premiership matches are on live. Not found a good way to get around that (and can’t seem to get a way of avoiding that on Virgin Superhub settings). Also run it from a raspberry pi3 with Nord/OpenVPN or on the laptop with NordVPN for the football. Gets past the virgin block but suspect they also throttle VPN traffic. A little frustrating - otherwise AceTV highly recommended and support/help is generally quick.

I also use it on SIPTV, find it better than using Kodi. I gave up Virgin just over a year ago and moved to BT, big mistake that was. Now I just rely on Plusnet for broadband and so far no complaints.

There are more teckie guys on here who might be able to help you with your problem. Hope so anyway, and good luck.

Question for a friend with a Turkish husband, she’s bought him a firestick for xmas and got kodi on it but uk Turks won’t play, coming up saying to play this video authorisation is required. I can’t check my firestick as it’s at my partners house, just wondering if it still works or if there’s issues with it? Any help appreciated.

Ace are taking no more business now.

Have you been with them previously? You might be ok in that case....

Yeah, I was meaning to imply that. I let it lapse when I got back into mania, but I just don't want to give mania my bit coin. No. Mine.

I logged into my old account which shows an outstanding invoice from November so I raised a ticket and asked if I pay that will my service resume - they say not automatically bit once paid let them know and they'll do it manually.

I suspect it'll be much easier for them, and therefore me, having no public presence or contact other than tickets from members. I'd reckon the authorities haven't got much except a website to get their teeth into if they do it that way.

Thought about watching T2 Trainspotting, but wasn't on it.

Went into kodi and all my add one were gubbed.

Done a Google search and installed Neptune Rising  and impressed, got my T2 and searched and started Mind hunter.

My mania subscription runs out this weekend and although I was reasonably happy with them the pay by bitcoin is not happening for me. Any suggestions for alternatives given that Ace are not taking new members?

Watched the darts on Maverick TV tonight. This streams the Sky Sports.

But I am going to try the others out. Halow (indian TV), I think this could be the best way to go if you are not arsed with Sky commentary.

STar Sports Select - http://tv.burrp.com/channel/star-sports-select-hd-1/743/

Watched the Hearts v Celtic last week in the pub, it was streamed from a Spanish (??) channel, there was no pre/post or HT talks, just the game.

Commentary was in Spanish.

The stream was perfect throughout.

Same in the past on Mania, watched Hearts games on Fox sports.

How does one acquire a decent link to club TV channels now that I believe sportmania has closed them down?

Thanks in advance!

We don't. I haven't yet seen another IPTV service which provides them. The clubs changed the encryption I think which makes it hard to get into.

For today's game you could use a VPN and take out a month subscription with Sheep TV (£9).

Hi.

My Exodus and Elysium both goosed. What is a good replacement? I have heard people mention Covenant. I just want a simple and basic one (just films) that takes 5 mins to install.

Thanks in advance.

Watched 20 mins of Celtic without VPN no buffering etc. (I'm not that interested in game)Think I'll give them a 4 month try if the rest of the trial is just as good (£25 for full package)

Thanks for the recommendation.
