wavydavy
Just returning from work and spotted big bad Bouzid strolling along Great Western Road in Glasgow. Looking rather dapper it must be said. I presume he's signing/has signed for a west coast team? He is on trial with Rangers along with Zaliukas.
Greedy_Jambo
WIthout intending to start an argument, I don't really rate Wilson as a central defender. I would much rather see him play on the left. So i rekon we really have to strengthen that position. I read in the paper that Ozturk is just back from an operation on his leg aswell... So he's not a sure in for player of the season!! What happens if Mchattie gets injured aswell? We will be back to square one throwing young boys at the problem.

DETTY29
David Obua was classed as a dead ball specialist when he first signed. Skied a few free kicks over the bar and missed a pen against Ayr in the cup. I can't remember who missed them against Ayr, but one of Obua's first games was against Airdrie in the LC. We got a few free kicks, he skied the lot and missed a penalty in the shoot out.

He did miss against Airdrie. I was sure, though, it was Csaba that said he was a set piece expert.
Don Dan
Without condemning Jack Hamilton to is its obvious that we need another goalkeeper. Alexander looked comfortable tonight but I think Hamilton needs more time to develop and gain confidence. Is this one of the 4 that we are considering adding to the squad? Don Dan
I hope that we have someone in mind. I can't think of one of the top of my head and the usual suspects have been signed already.
Dinger
i agree we need 1 more keeper, but i don't really think jack was all that bad tbh, 1st goal was a defensive shambles and the ball ended up being deflected over him, 2nd goal was a penalty, again not his fault. he made 1 really good save, and got down well and held another a low shot the only thing i saw that he really needed to work at was his kicking,

Snake Plissken
I think we need one of every position: goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and forward We can field a good first team but we're in trouble if we get a couple of injuries/suspensions. It's not at a critical stage, unlike a certain team in green, so we can take our time to get the right players if need be.
Nelly Terraces
From signings so far it looks as if the management are casting the net far and wide (certainly wider than people on here who'se criteria seemed to stretch as far as ex players only). We just have to be patient and see what develops. I've a feeling we'll have some more new faces in, give it time.
letsalldothebeattie
I agree we need another keeper but I thought Hamilton done well last night. Made a good save nothing he could have done about the goals. He had a couple poor kicks early on after coming on but settled and done well. Alan Johnson
I'd be surprised if we hear much before they're back from Chester. Is it Monday night the next game? Maybe have a couple guys lined up to join up with the rest of the squad when they come back. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk

Guest oldcastlerock2012
Ideally we'd want two players for every position. Just now we've got: Goalie: Alexander, Hamilton CB: Wilson, Ozturk, Mackay, McGhee, Gordon (?) LB: McHattie, Wilson, Henderson RB: Paterson, L Smith, McGhee, Mackay MID: Gomis, Robinson, Holt, Beith, Smith/Walker (AM), Paterson WINGERS: King, Walker, Nicolson, Smith, El Hassnaoui FORWARDS: Keatings, El Hassnaoui, Carrick, Oliver, Smith, Paterson It's not a bad squad but three more experienced players - goalie, midfielder and centre back - are needed IMO. Victorian
I don't think there's much doubt that there will be 2 or 3 more signings. They don't all have to come at once or in a steady stream. It's not too much to ask for the management to have a pause and assess which areas are the most vital to improve. Training sessions and games will contribute towards their thoughts. If Jack Ross is on-board, what other positions need filling JiG? I've lost track on the backroom positions lately... mainly on purpose, out of the pure novelty of being allowed to build a squad again.
