Game of Thrones season 3

Suppose Talisa's death on the TV show puts to bed any notion that Jeyne might have a baby Robb in the books? I know the mum says she gives her moon tea and Jaime puts her under heavy guard but was always an outside possibility..

Wonder what will happen to the BlackFish he never left riverrun for the red wedding. Maybe when he went for his pish he escaped but doesn't seem the sort to do a runner

Ps the Hound mocking Arya over Ned's death was a low blow and I'm sure that doesn't happen in the books. Much like his calling her the Stark bitch earlier on they're not depicting the Hound in the right manner this season

I don't think they could have made that more brutal if they tried!

I'd imagine those that have read the books kind of feel the opposite.

The book Red Wedding was nothing compared to the TV show. Maybe I'm just a shite reader.

Yeup. Posting about what's happened in an episode after its aired in BOTH the US and UK is legit.

Front-running shit from the books? Just **** right off, spoiler tags or not.

Don't think it's fair to post spoilers like that right after an episodes been shown when folk are clearly going to think they're about that episode.

Generally book spoilers are marked like so;

Homeland is shite.

I had seen it, that's not the point.

Something still deserves to be in spoiler tags for more than the hour after the episode has finished.

Edmure Tully's face when he saw his new missus made me laugh though.

Is he deid though, that's the question. Surely given the fact the rest of his family saw red, he was carried off for a good pumping, did he get it or get it?

Is this a rhetorical qq?

Open the spoiler if you want to know

Edmure got his end away in the books and the Freys kept him as a hostage to get Riverrun off Black Fish

I have Virgin so no skyatlantic and my Internet has been down for a couple of days and isn't getting fixed until tonight.

I've read all the spoilers and the wiki.

Probably best to prepare my fragile emotional state before hand though.

I was down 3 episodes when I watched them all last night, unbelievable scenes!

I'd thought the series had been a bit slow and was looking for it to pick up, careful what you wish for eh!

Christ I thought Ramsays Kitchen Nightmares on Monday was a telly moment :)

Read all the books and knew what was coming but it is was outstanding, the doors closing, the Rains fo Castemere cranking up and Catelyn's face when it dawns on her. Amazing.

Just wish I could watch with someone who didn't have a clue what was going to go down.

Michelle Fairley's acting in that whole scene was out of the top drawer, Emmy award winning stuff. Never been a fan of Catelyn until then too.

This. didnt have much sympathy for her in the books after she told Jon it was him who should have fell off the tower. In the show, despite her still being unreasonably harsh to Jon they cut that bit and made Catelyn much more sympathetic character, and she delivered her red wedding scenes with aplomb

Richard Madden was excellent too. Robb isnt a POV character in the books but the writers gave him more screen time due to Madden's performance

What's all the fuss about.

Haven't seen any of GoT.

Is it worth it ?

After 3 episodes, I'll say that I've seen better things.

I'll give it 2 more episodes purly because of the hype.

Ive watched all episodes to now, amazing. Ive read the first book but cant get into the 2nd book as I know what happens. Is it worth just jumping to the 4th book after the 3rd season finishes or do the books go a different direction to thw series

Not read the books but I have heard that series 3 of the TV show is the first half of third book. Maybe worth skipping book 2 and going to book 3?
