I wasn’t sure about it before I watched it, but was pleasantly surprised, thought it was decent. The whole thing was put together really well imo. Tom Hanks performance is a charicature performance could have just got a foreign actor and I would have. What I did see was rote with some of the worst dialogue and scripting I’ve endured in a long time. It made the MCU seem edgy. I swear half of this film is the exact same film as the first one, just very slightly changed and another quarter just nicked from the Abyss & Aliens. Quite terrible, albeit I wasn’t feeling good at all which will have coloured my experience. Empire gave it 5 stars, so I’m well at odds with that review.
