Looks like Wentz may be done for the season.

While there are always loads of injuries, I can’t recall a season with so many that have knocked out key players for the season. Maybe just call this year void...

Wentz going down in a real blow to the Eagles Superbowl hopes. This season has been brutal for injuries to great players.

The Chargers are the 3rd best team in the AFC right now imo.

Chargers really could be the dark horses. Wouldn’t fancy facing them in the playoffs.

I agree. I love watching Rivers play.

Feels very open to me, this season. Lots of teams in with a shout. No doubt some more key players will go down over the next few weeks.

My Chargers to win the AFC West bet is starting to look very good!

Chargers, Steelers, Jags and Panthers are the hot hand just now.

:rolleyes2: I'm just going to pretend you couldn't find the P on your key board. Or the A or the T or the S.

Oh wait a sec. You found them when spelling Panthers. :P

Being serious, though, unbelievably tough for Eagles fans. My in-laws are in shock. Truly looked like a Super Bowl year for them.

I'm still holding on to some hope, if foles can find the form from 2013 when he was back up to vick, then there's a chance, need the defense to up its game even further.

It was a bit sloppy on Sunday and gurley took them for a ride, but when it came down to it after Wentz took the injury they stepped it up a notch, got the strip on Goff which led to us winning the game, also huge 3rd n 8 throw from Foles to Nelson.

He's not a bad back up to have really.

Hopefully the team rallies for wentz.

Overall I'm extremely gutted for the lad and the team.

Price on the steelers will come in now. Even more so after this weeks pending victory.

Only for them to do as they usually do and have a brain fart against a side they should beat. It's been the Steelers way...

You only have to look at the fact that Case Keenum and Blake Bortles are playoffs bound to not give up hope

Eagles have a good enough D and OL to see them through.

If the Steelers beat Patriots then i think they will win AFC.

Eagles have a not bad run in, whereas the others chasing have some dodgy games.

Winning AFC/NFC does not mean finishing as top seed. It means winning the conference play offs and making the Super Bowl.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

No way it would be 12/1 for both being top seed.

Honestly wouldn't put either of those on even money right now, but then I've never been good at figuring odds and returns for accumulators so the payoff might be worth it.

How come there are two Saturdays games this week?

No idea but it means even more NFL games to watch this weekend.

Because there are no college games. Normal to have at least one game the Saturday before the Christmas weekend.

Absolutely.  Late game should be very good with the division on the line.

Doubt I'll make it til 1.30am.

Will get to see the Lions pump the Bears/come from behind in the last play off the game though.

This! They schedule two Saturday games from then until season's end although perhaps not on the final weekend. (cannie mind)
