Really bad up Gorebridge way this morning - blizzard again earlier on, the snow is so deep it's over the top of my wellies. Buses were running, but with difficulty.

Had to go to Gorebridge (Mast behind telephone exchange)and it really is as bad as you describe.Couldnt get to a fault in Berwick as A1 was closed.

Was in St.Andrews yesterday and found Fife not half as bad as Lothians. No snow at all in St Andrews

Hey, he's got a fair few fans, you know (not me, I hasten to add!!) - if his letters don't appear for a while, they complain...

I believe it didn't go past Mayfield first thing this morning but after about 7 it was fine.

Were not like LRT we can drive in any weather :cheese:

Well, it was LRT who left my daughter stranded twice in the past week, so you're not going to get any arguments from me on that score!

That's one way of putting it - you should see the letters which can't even get printed!

Sort of, we have a wee burn that runs through the garden and it's frozen this year. Never seen that before. :ninja:

And in Gorgie/Dalry, although it was only for a short while.

It actually doesn't feel quite so cold outside tonight, which could be a bad thing, as a rise in temperature tends to be the precursor to more snow.

Snowed here earlier, not hard, just enough to cause problems for those driving and those walking home from the pub!

Anyone else think that the forecasts in the last couple of weeks have been way off on occasions.

The six inches we got on Christmas Eve wasnt forecast and the minus 10 with clear skies we were supposed to get last night didnt happen, nothing like it in fact)

Its snowing heavily now in sunny Drylaw and that wasnt forecast either (its supposed to be sunny but freezing cold right now), in fact there is no snow on the BBC weather satelite for just now.

Thats what i was trying to get through to some of the guys yesterday, that the forecasts are sometimes wrong.
