Not sure what age you are but to some fans this grips their shit maybe you don’t understand

I sometimes forget what age I am to be honest, but struggling to understand why it matters in this situation?

Anyway, to each their own. If this kinda stuff in life grips your shit then I can't really offer any advice. It doesn't bother me in the slightest which apparently makes me less of a Jambo, interesting logic. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Anyway time to sign off. Enjoy the rest of your weekend Jamborich and all.  🍻

Bazzas right boot

I'm not too bothered, it's trivial and no damage was caused and tbh I thought maybe that something like this for both clubs would have been agreed and set up in advance.

But it wasn’t,  and Hun arrogance is off the scale here, they are entitled horrible *******s that think they can do what they want, when they want.

Next time we visit their shitehole in Govan we should chuck maroon paint all over the place, *****.

Storm in a teacup and tinpot statement, yet someone throws a bottle opener at our captain and radio silence from the club… priorities.

2 hours of the weekend left, why not just put down the messageboard cliches and just kick back and enjoy winning the internet before school tomorrow?

Predictable, bizarre that the club did absolutely nothing to prevent this. Zero awareness.

How do you prevent it? Have a Hearts employee stationed in the Rangers changing room all the time?

Simply by covering the Hearts badge and putting a Rangers badge there without the edges of the Hearts badge on display. And doing the same in the away dressing room put a Partick badge there. It’s a neutral stadium for this event. Decorate the dressing rooms accordingly. Instead we leave an open goal for a bunch of rangers fans to take the piss oh my who could’ve predicted that?

I suppose if the club didn’t issue a strong objection then it would just feed the ‘diet hun’ sh*t that we have to put up with,  so for that I’m happy they have.

Good comment - I think that pretty well sums up the situation.

As you say: “Its actually incredibly petty for them to even think about doing that in the first place…”

There is also the question raised by “No Idle Talk” about the fundamental lack of respect on display, and additionally whether the overlay has possibly damaged the HMFC crest.

I reckon the Hun culture is toxic. As such, perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised that even their “ladies” team has resorted to such a crass example of disrespect, arrogance, and supremacism.

It really is just out and out strange from them. I can understand them putting up some flags or scarves or whatever in the changing room, but someone actively went out and ordered a massive Rangers sticker to slap on the floor over the badge of the club they are guests at. And they couldn't even get that bit right and got something too small

It's like me asking to borrow your car for the week, and then paying the DVLA £80 to put my own personalised plates on it!

If Hearts hadn’t issued a statement I’m not sure I’d even be aware of this to be honest.

Pretty much spot on. The fact we made no public condemnation that a weapon was thrown at our captain is nothing short of a disgrace.  Quite how our board have got away with that is a disgrace. Maybe if a hibs fan throws a bottle opener / coins or punches directly at one of the board then they wouldn’t say a word ?  Shameful in my opinion

Hearts talking about taking the focus off the match when their statement has completely blew the thing up is a bit of a backfire.

I feel Hearts are damned if they do and damned if they dont in regards to the statement. If they didn't put out a statement then you would have a section of fans moaning that the club are weak and letting others walk over them (see what some say about no statement over Hibs fans.)

To be honest, I suspect the club want to get ahead of the story as the papers are trying to whip things up, so setting out that this was done against the clubs wishes directs peoples ire away.

Spot on

Totally disagree.

if Hearts did not release a statement then it looks like we allowed this behaviour in the first instance.

As a previous poster mentioned Hearts are damned if they do and damned if they don’t here.

I personally see nothing wrong with the statement nor do I see anything wrong with my football club taking offence to another football club putting their badge on top of ours.

Strange any other hearts fan would be upset about this statement imo.

If carlsberg did rivals...

It's a flag/mat/sticker or whatever, that presumably comes off with no damage done to the original badge. Surely most teams playing in finals have scarfs or flags in the changing room at some point. It's a bit of an over reaction to release a statement.

I'm not actually going to do anything about it (email, protest, burst into tears...) but that arrogant, vile club have overstepped the mark.

Shameless scum.

And that's the club.

The support...where do you start?

The club is 12 years old.

The women's team 4 minium.

The badge, history, stadium. Et all was bought from Mike Ashley.

Rangers football club died in 2012.

They let their club die.

The phoenix club risen from said liquidation has to buy their way in illegally to the SFA.

Bargained with the SFL for the vacant membership.

The new Co bought the old Company stock.

Reincarnated as rangers.

There almost there with the dodo also.

The things with sequels.

None of them live up to the original.

Now the club has issued a statement they need to do something about it imo. Just a statement is pretty weak so I hope they’ve got something lined up.

Couldn't somebody from the board have contacted Rangers directly and said, right caants, that's twice, no more of that. Thank you.

FFS the board sat on their hands and did nowt when Shanks was almost hit by a bottle opener.

Missing the point.

Say I come to your house when you away.

(coz you've gave permission to so do)

I come in.

Put my 32 inch tv to play my game over your 56 inch tv.

Use your electricity, steal you batteries.

Have a shite. Don't flush.

Drink all your milk and leave a sip.

Make a sandwich.

Leave the knife and plate in the sink along with the empty coffee cup and spoon.

You wouldn't be a bit pissed off?

But you got paid for it.......

You would put a comment on your social media.

You just would
