Shankland playing well. 13 minutes in and he has had loads of touches and been heavily involved in the link up play. I suspect he would be even better then he is at us in a better team.

I think Johan would be proud of us the night, playing some lovely stuff.

Been a very good 20 minutes from Scotland. Gilmour really is a top class player and improving all the time. If we can get Hickey back for June we have so much potential in our side.

Wee McGinn certainly did a Cruyff style turn earlier. 👍

We look like we are enjoying it. So much to like about this group of players.

Patterson has been the weak link so far, nowhere near as good as Hickey is at RB. Just have to hope Hickey is fit for the Euros.

Patterson is a Hun and I therefore dislike him. Hickey is twice the player.

He’s playing about 100 minutes all season, not surprised he isn’t sharp. Feel sorry for the lad sitting behind Ashley Young and Seamus Coleman. He’s more than good enough to play for Everton.

Good performance so far by Scotland, have looked better than the Netherlands #6 ranked World side.

There is no chance of the Netherlands winning the Euros on this showing. They can't get near us when we pick up the ball in the middle of the park. They do look like they have a few pacey players on the break though.

Wales will be in their group if they come through against Poland on Tuesday. Along with the French and Austria.

The Scottish national team is as strong as I can remember in a long time. Proper professionals!

Clarke is a great manager as well. Sour puss but great at getting the best out of players.

  Gilmour has been superb.

He looks like he he’s out playing with his pals. Just enjoys football and is getting physically stronger being a week in week out starter in the EPL. Given his talent he’s going to be a huge player for us for a long time to come.

Scotland's composure in tight situations is the mark of Steve Clarke.

Ryan Christie and John McGinn being on the end of the best chances is the Steve Clarke team.

Shankland trying a bit to hard here. Needs to let his natural instincts take over.

Cheating *******, Gakpo .

What’s the point in VAR if it could give a penalty there but not a yellow card for a dive?

Could see Austria or Wales/Poland springing an upset against them. They look really disjointed.

The Dutch are awful. Playacting and diving like our pals in Abbeyhill.

Diving in a friendly should be a 10 match ban.

Embarassing.
