Victorian
Admits to a 'mistake' in not cancelling the big sporting event gatherings (Cheltenham, rugby, football). It's quite clear that the non-cancellation of these was quite deliberate as part of the early strategy. He'll be laughing up his sleeve at getting to portray this as an innocent mistake. Expressing regret at shaking hands with Covid patients .... is that a polite way of actually blaming them for giving him Covid ? Quite astonishing. Even by his standards. Mikey1874
So Boris has admitted team was too male dominated. But blamed Nicola Sturgeon for problems in communication. And any other issues down to the science being unclear. Crucially in January and February it wasn't seen as a big deal. Delays were due to worries about people getting tired of lockdowns and virus coming back stronger. Overall the rest was fine including backing Matt Hancock, his WhatsApps, and people swearing at each other just shows commitment to getting things done. And of course at all times they did their best. Where it was perhaps most unsatisfactory was saying he didn't get clear advice from September 2020 re locking down again which doesn't match what Vallance and Whity said.
