Naismith has been waiting for this opportunity and I'm convinced the team will pull together to get the win. Away to Hibs is probably the perfect first game for him. And I have more confidence in him than Robbie to push Rangers and Celtic in what will be meaningless games for them post split. Looking forward to seeing who he picks and what formation. I'd go for either: Clark Smith Sibbick Rowles Cochrane Devlin Grant Halliday Ginnelly Shankland McKay Or preferably a simple 442: Clark Smith Sibbick Rowles Cochrane Ginnelly Devlin Halliday McKay Humphrys Shankland Smith for me has to play because he is still better than Atkinson. Love your 4-4-2 formation and team. I’d play Atkinson instead of Smith though. He’s never had a proper chance and will have a point to prove. No Idle Talk
We had no chance of winning this game if Robbie had stayed. We at least have a chance now. Hopefully we will get the new manager bounce but all the problems that have been in that dressing room won't just disappear overnight I suspect. Could be a draw this one. By Friday I will be absolutely convinced we are going to beat them. Edited April 10, 2023 by No Idle Talk

Bazzas right boot
3rd place was surrendered, our good home form has taken a hit hopefully our unbeaten run laid down by Bob v them continues. Luckily I think they are the perfect team for us to play, not only because it's Hibs at ER but because they play football we are better at defending against, they don't launch Cross after cross into the box as they have smaller, tidier players. That Youan is decent, we need to keep an eye on him. I think we'll win, be a tight game tho. 6-3. TheBigO
Hm, tricky one. Up and at'em the only real message eh. Just posted on another thread. Forget pretty football, forget control. Get in about them first whistle. Be smashmouth. Run at them, get the ball forward quickly either down channels or in to Shanks or at the wingers feet and get that ball in the box. Don't give them a second. Hunt in packs. They are low on confidence, we have something to prove. They're at home and are soft as shite - pound them. Stewart Smith Sibbick Kye Cochrane Devlin Haring Grant Gino Shanks Humps I think. Duno! Could swap Humps or Gino for Baz and send him out with one mission - dribble. Just dribble. Is Pete ready? If not, swap for Halliday. Do we trust Hill? If so, could put him CH and Toby to RB. How is Kingsley and Cochrane looking in training? Toss-up between these boys, I've gone Cochrane for pure energy.
