I'd guess that a fair percentage of the French-language wins came between 1956 and the mid-1970s.

12 of them

3 of them later (83, 86, 88)

Dads are well catered for, with Armenia, Poland and Israel.

Poland and Israel are both must see imo. Finland to win though I think.

Israel had a "Madonna" problem yesterday during the dress rehearsal/jury voting performance.

Her rip-off trousers for her break-dancing bit didn't rip off properly and she was pulled clean off her feet.

Should they Ukrainian men not be fighting?

President himself gave them dispensation to compete in Eurovision.
Half the band went back to fight after they won last year.
The others stayed on the road as cultural ambassadors. Sold the Eurovision trophy to buy drones. All their tour money goes back home too.

Not a fan of Graham Norton or that other lass. Might need to mute it until the acts start

I like Graham, He's probably the only male at the BBC that's no shagged a bairn.

Portugal spent about a fiver on their act this year, but she pulls it off through sheer charisma.

In the classic Eurovision style of the 60s/70s

I actually can't think of a shite episode. Shame dermot died young but he left us a classic.

The sound mix has been awful all week, with the vocals being buried beneath the backing tracks.

Looks like they still haven't bothered to fix that.
