Last season we scored 17% of our goals in the first ten minutes. For the life of me, I cannae imagine how Robbie managed to achieve that by being wholeheartedly defensive. Can you enlighten us please? Are you including cup games? Up until February we’d only scored in the opening 10 mins in 5 league matches. I think people mean in nature of performance from the start. We’ve always got the players there that can do something in the moment and that’s more proven when we actually settle down and begin to turn the screw more. Again, I’m not really huge on stats and going to pick Hearts up on it. The early parts of matches tend to be tight and maybe you see less goals in general than other periods? People just become uneasy at regular, cagey starts. 👍🏻 Edited yesterday at 07:42 by Debut
karipidis Posted yesterday at 08:00 Share Posted yesterday at 08:00 (edited) Disappointed Tavares is suspended as he looks utter pony. Not many options for them out wide with him, Mitchell and McGeady out. Might make Robbie go with Atkinson over Smith. Kendoll Posted yesterday at 09:06 Share Posted yesterday at 09:06 Going slightly against the grain on this thread, but I'd rather we started Atkinson than Smith. His ability to get forward and go beyond Forrest helps to free space up for Forrest to cut inside/make runs. I like Smith defensively, but I want us attacking and he definitely helps with that. RudiSkacel51 Posted yesterday at 10:22 Share Posted yesterday at 10:22 Hibs have signed their secret weapon, a bang average winger who couldn't hack it in the Saudi league. The Mercer Takeover Posted yesterday at 11:18 Share Posted yesterday at 11:18 Hibs 1 Hearts 3 Can't see anything other than a comprehensive victory, as long as Neilson plays an attacking formation.
