The Scottish Cup final is a festival event like no other in our game.  It is a marquee occasion broadcast to the world.  Even here in NZ thank goodness.  Oldest trophy worldwide in professional football.

Anything can happen and we should all enjoy it.  We've got a good team.  We can win.

The world won't end if we don't.

Try the fox or the claddagh Irish bar (in that order) both in Auckland.

Give them a call first to see if they are showing the game. Both within Auckland CBD.

And, it's polite to say 'pardon'.

Why you talking about Hibs though?

There's hardly been a squeak in media about Scottish Cup Final as they are all focussed on Seville.   Not sure how I feel about that.  If I am honest I haven't yet got to DEFCON Buzz level although I am sure that will kick in by Friday.  If they win tonight there will be a media love in for next few days with little mention of the 'other' cup final But you watch, if they get pumped tonight suddenly Saturday's final will be the big ticket according to Weegie press.

It has been quiet, and to an extent I understand that given the match tonight. But, I'm happy for us to work away in the background, quietly focusing on what is our big game. I don't yet have that buzz of excitement yet either but come Sat at 3pm it will definitely be there!

Yip, after 8 pints, 2 valium, a line, 500g of glue, a couple of disco biscuits and a Sherbet dip dab the buzz will be right on.

I know what you mean. It feels like it's been a long wait with little meaningful football since the semi.

What are the training bras? Heart monitor? Would they work through a jacket? Why am I asking so many questions?

If looking that up, type in "sports bras" and not "training bras".

Horatio Caine

FWIW, here's my thoughts on how Sevco will approach this.

The Sevco team we saw last Saturday will not be far away from the CF line up.  All their best players will be involved tonight.  Whatever the result is, they will not be at 100% come Saturday.  So, I think GVB will tell the `young team` - `here's your chance to become Rangers legends, even at your young age.  You beat them last Saturday, just repeat that performance`.  Now, he'll have his better players, eg Kent, Aribo, Roofe etc on the bench.  He can bring them on later in the game if things aren't going according to plan.  By then they will be more fully zoned in on Hampden.

We saw on Saturday that some of his `second choice` players are still pretty good.  They will probably not have been involved tonight and will be better focussed on playing us.  Hopefully Robbie has considered this scenario as a possibility and will be prepared for it.

That's how I would approach it if I was GVB.

Spot on 👍

This talk of Rangers playing a second team I just can't see it, they will go full strength, we have to follow runs and match them every inch on that pitch.

We can do it we are more than capable though some fans don't believe we can 🙄🤔

Thinking with this heat and nature of the game rangers will surely feel this in some capacity on Saturday. He infuriates the life out of me but could maybe be worth starting Gino on Saturday? His pace could hurt them
