So on the assumption we want some of the bigger sides out asap (even though they may win their next leg anyway) we want the following this evening (all 0-0 first leg):

Dinamo Batumi to beat Slovan Bratislava

Shakhtyor Soligorsk to beat Maribor

Tobol Kostanay to beat Ferencvaros

Pyunik to beat Cluj

Bodoe/Glimt pretty much through with a 3-0 already and Linfield/LNS much the same.

The more "smaller" teams who get through the more chance we have... kind of.

KL Klaksvik likely to go out tomorrow too, they're 3-0 down against Bodo Glimt from the first leg, plenty to play for in every other tie.

Kiss of death there, Klaksvik are 2-0 up after 20 minutes. 2 shots on target, 2 goals!

So when is the draw?

Still the same as the twenty odd times it's been stated on the thread already!

Bodo must have a rubbish manager if they're in any danger of blowing that lead. He'll be getting drummed out of his job if he's not careful!

Bodo have just pulled one back. Surely done now as they lead 4-2 on aggregate.

Maribor cruising now against Shakhtyor Soligorsk, 2-0 on the night and on aggregate.

Yup, think I probably caused that with my comment about the kiss of death

3-1 Klaksvik now. I'm not sure if it's the same Bodo side that did so well last season, I think they've been raided for a lot of their talent since the season ended.

Edit: Full time and Bodo make it through.

Maribor also through. Slovan Bratislava and Dinamo Batumi heading for extra time.

Ferencvaros cruising at half time and CFR Cluj will surely see Pyunik off now.

Linfield and The New Saints have just kicked off.

Pyunik with a late equaliser against CFR Cluj. Heading for extra time now.

Linfield and The New Saints still 0-0 with TNS ahead by 1 from the first leg.

Pyunik level against Cluj with a minute to go of ET. Poss penalties and we’d orobably like to see Cluj go out

Linfield score a goal in added time (95th minute) to make it 2-1 on aggregate with a minute to play.

Any chance we could draw them if they get papped in the next game, or is there not another qualifier which affects us?  Not a glamorous European trip, but they're just down the road from me, so it would be handy

If they lose in the next round, they're a possibility for Hearts.

Yes Linfield are still a possible play off opponent. They will likely lose to Bodo Glimt next which makes them one of just 10 teams we COULD get after those 10 play off

Fantastic, I live 15 minutes away from Windsor Park!

Sorry lads, but I really, really hope our European tour this summer is the sights and sounds of Belfast.   At least the group stages can be more exotic!

That's who I'd expect to progress, leaving us with one of the losers (and Slovacko/Partizan Belgrade).

Lose to Bodo and they are in Europa. Draw for Europa 3rd round is Monday.

For example if the draw were to be

Linfield/Bodo Glimt v Dinamo Zagreb/Shkupi. You'd expect Linfield and Shkupi to lose that Champions league match and be paired in the Europa.

Only 2 or 3 you’d really want to avoid there. The rest are beatable. All about the draw obviously

Not a lot of "glamour ties" there, but whatever gets us there.

You want shite, not glamour.   That will come in the group stages.

That's pretty much it.  We're guaranteed plenty of games in group stage anyway, of which at least 1 or 2 should be desirable, so who cares if we have to go to the arsehole of Europe for one away game to get there!

Really hoping we end up with Zalgiris. Easily winnable tie, Vilnius is a great trip and we get to have a homecoming for Miko as well.

Ach it doesn’t matter a whole lot because the time available to organise a trip is going to be minimal and we know before we start we’ve got 3 other trips to look forward to.

Yep. Combination of (shite)beatable team and a nice accessible town would be good.

They play like they get told they're getting shot if they lose

Is the title of this thread correct?  Looking at UEFA website and it states that Europa League play-off round draw is 2nd August not 1st August

Wikipedia had originally gone with the 1st in their draw/matches schedule, in a different sub section it says its the 2nd August 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
