Nobody can complain about 7 defensive players today eh.

Absolutely not.

Plenty attacking threat.

Gino knock or dropped?

Since when did that matter when it came to Hearts. A crap team is desperate for a win along we come to oblige.

Potential banana skin if we play to defend not actually go out and win.

Hopefully we do defend and defend well or it will make winning the game incredibly difficult.

Someone want to hazard a guess at a formation? I’ve not a scoob.

442 probably, which our defence isn’t really good with.

No gino ffs

I like Gino but he did nothing when he came on against hibs. Was a waste of a sub unfortunately.

Not sure about moving away from 3-4-3 but it’s definitely more attacking.

I would have stuck with the 343. Cochrane unlucky to miss out. I wasn’t impressed with Gino against hibs, felt his performance was really poor and probably annoyed Robbie as much as myself.

3-5-2 a think with Barry Mackay and Kingsley wing backs with Boyce playing behind Nando

   4-1-2-1-2?

               Gordon

Moore Souttar Halkett Kinglsey

                     Beni

Mckay                       Mackay-Stevens

                  Woodburn

          Gnando      Boyce

That's my guess.

Wow. I did think Cochrane might drop put for Moore but didn't think that formation would change.

LOOKS LIKE an attacking lineup but it depends how far forward midfield is pushed up.

No striker on the bench - we don't have any!!

Better score now lol,big pressure on.

 Definitely. Massive game for him.

It’s up to him now to make sure he can’t be dropped.

It's 5 attacking players, so those demanding a more attacking set up can't complain...

That’s a very attacking lineup out today. Hope it pays dividends, or I expect we won’t be seeing it again.

Main concern is how we set up. Is it a 4-4-2 diamond, or is one of the wingers at RWB in a 5-3-2?

Haring on bench .

No Gino, Cochrane or Smith who is obviously injured.

Beni seems to be the only natural centre midfielder.

Walker or Woodburn can play further up or GMS. Plenty options should either Boyce or Gnando have to go off

Interesting to see Smith, Cochrane and Haring dropped

The first had been considered undroppable, the second has played every minute I think and Haring was getting better every week.

Robbie's rolled the dice today

That's my guess.

Think you might be right.

We have talked about 2 formations so assume this is the second one.

Obviously decided we only need the one defensively minded central midfielder.

Walker and McEneff on the bench probably a good move to keep their motivation up.

Maybe...

Gordon

Moore Souttar Halkett Kingsley

Beni

McKay Woodburn Boyce GMS

Gnando

4-1-4-1 like Csaba played with Beni in the Karapidis role giving 4 guys license to support the central striker.

Lots of movement and interchange between the attacking 4 to draw a stodgy County defence around and create openings?

Agreed. Fine for this game but wouldn't like to start a game with those you mention as a striker. Only a matter of time before 1 of our 2 forwards is out , we need more cover, IMO.

Could be that shape with Moore RWB, Kingsley his usual LCB role and one of the 'wingers' covering LWB

Oooh this is exciting.

So Smith goes out and the formation goes too. Fair play. Let's hammer that twat McGregor and his minions.

Possibly not.

Smith was the one we reckoned would suit the formation change and Halkett was our big worry for 4 at the back.

We can only wait and see

I was only joking.  The final is being held near where I am and they've closed a bit of a road and theres still backs...

Serious question.  Do folk there actually have two teams?

No but I regularly see busses up here heading south with one or the other cheek colours on display
