Can we take a moment to look at how much Popescu bossed it playing as the right side of the CM pairing for once.

So much better playing from the back without Berra but Halliday still not good enough.

I don't want to be negative after a really good performance but I'm yet to see what Halliday is meant to be good at.

Delighted for Armand and Hearts. Great result.

Incidentally, James McFadden on Sportsound just called our relegation unfair. Not often a media person says that.

Pretty sure he also referred Raith taking their medicine tonight.....one of the commentators def said it.

Good result tonight and glad we put 4 past them and even better that we kept a clean sheet.

Well done boys and hopefully we get a similar performance and result on Saturday.

Strangely, nowhere to be found after this sort of result. Gone,

One or two have admitted paying £14 to RR for the match. Scabs IMO.

Thought if he does on the park so be it

A loud big shot if ever  that will never ever get a bigger club than Hearts IMO

Glad if he turn's it round  but he leaves at the end of the season so be it

I'd guess the only negative that come into thoughts, well at least my thoughts, is in respect of Ginnelly, who picked up another injury. When he clicks he is a super player to watch, but when we get back to the top league you need to have more confidence that we can depend on all the players being fit and well most of the time. I believe part of the reason he struggled to play regularly at PNE was down to repeated injuries, and it seems to be repeating itself with us. I did read somewhere that the hope was that using the sport science available up at Riccarton and getting him through a full pre season could be helpful. I'd like to hope so as we really don't want to be giving a permanent contract to someone who might only be available for part of the season.

Apart from that I thought tonight there was much better application from the players who many thought, correctly, had a bit of a stinker on Saturday. At times playing the ball across the park can be so frustrating when we are behind. But tonight we did play across the park quite often but it was much more relaxed yet at the same time accurate/precise. We just need to carry forward what we did tonight, starting from Saturday versus Dunfermline, and move away from the rest of the teams.

Dominant from start to finish, our best performance of the season for me. Irving was terrific and Walker put in a good shift, good to see Armand get two goals as well the second was a brilliant header.

The build from this has to be the team being right up for every game from the start. No more passive rubbish like the first 60 minutes on Saturday.

That way the players won’t have to read our criticism or hear the crowing of the opposition when they take advantage of substandard performances.

Hearts need to get this league tied up to take any chance away of any shenanigans from the SPFL clubs. It would be nice to have another decent crack at the cup.

We've got the quality to go gung-ho for the first 30 mins and bury teams like under Burley, if it doesn't work we've got bouncebackabilty to get back into games. We need to be aggressive from the start and realise that we've got much more ability than the teams we're playing.

Not a fan myself, his uncle seems like a toff.

Handy sub is about size of it for me.

His only redeeming factor seems to really radge the opposition

Care to get a message to him... "Sign the ****ing contract" (in the nicest possible terms) 😄 Why doesn't he like it though do you know?

Because he doesn’t want labelled with it.

Before his time but remember when Fulton got labelled “Baggio” and fans used that to take the piss.

Perhaps controversial view, but appears to made of glass. Twice now he has come off in the first 15 minutes

Halliday playing 20yrds further up park was a change that was needed in this league.

He needs to be playing 20 yards off the park

I don't mind him on open goal tbf. Comes across as a normal guy who likes talking about football.

He's been disappointing so far on the whole.

Ten times better than sat. Even 4-0 probably flattered them! Genuinely could and probably should have been 6 or 7!

I liked how we just looked sharper all over the park and our movement was so much better! None of this, just pass It sideways, waiting for someone else to do something. We looked so dangerous tonight and were very attack minded! That is the hearts we want to see 🇱🇻

Glad big Craig got a couple of passbacks to deal with tonight to keep him on his toes.

He must be thinking, "clean sheet, how did that happen?!"

Don't think it's controversial. Think it's sensible, unfortunately. Doesn't half bugger up your plan B if one of your subs is already stripped and playing inside the first 15 minutes.

There was something in the air tonight
The stars were bright, Armando
They were shining there for you & HMFC
For victory, Armando
Though I never thought that we could lose
There's no regret
Let us do the same again
Win more games, Hearts no. 9 Armando
Let us do the same again
Win more games, Hearts no. 9 Armando

Where was that performance in a lot of our previous away games.

Night and day. We look so much more threatening on front foot. Way we should be setting out to play every week

This league is weak and playing like that will blow most teams away
