Totally disagree with those who were saying the second half has been poor.

We have been in complete control, against 10 men sat in their box.

It’s easier said than done knocking 6 in straight after half time.

Very happy with the control, composure and professionalism shown today. All players have done their jobs.

We have looked very very comfortable, no need to rush. Just worked it well and been patient. And the result is what we see now.

Best performance of the season. Delighted to see the new man get his goals, the start of a Zeefuik like barrage I think

Berra cannot play again.

Youd be better looking at the players than the manager,  he is yet to send out a defensive formation,  not against Hibs not against Celtic.

Halliday playing 20yrds further up park was a change that was needed in this league.

Like the look of him already. Big Armand held it up out wide lays it off and he's straight back into the middle of box.

Seems so basic but so few of our forwards have done that recently

(Typed before he bagged second. Solid start 👏👏)

We are averaging three goals a game in the league - that’s impressive.  If we tidy up a bit at the back the rest of this season will be very enjoyable.

Cracking header that for the second goal.
Well done Hearts. Good result against a team who didn’t want to play tonight
Some finishing and crossing practice required before Saturday. 👍🏻

Controlled the game start to finish. Second half was easy street.

2 debut goals for the big lad. Defensively more secure (funny that when Berra doesn't play) and 3 points down the road.

All is well again, give me a couple more new faces to keep it fresh.

Decent all round. Janie Walker deserved a goal for his play but finishing atrocious. Boyce was really good, and the new boy looked decent on first viewing.

GMS also had a decent game.

Ginelly...we’ll just depressing. Just add to the long list of sick notes in the last four seasons.

Exactly the response we wanted.

Well done lads. Great show. No grumbles for me scoring 4 in a dominant display by all accounts.

Boycie keeping up his tally. Then the big man Nando hitting a brace on his debut. Superb.

Let's kick off on Saturday where we left it tonight.

There is absolutely no way on earth that Hearts team could beat anyone 4-0 away from home.
We won’t keep a clean sheet for a start.
Will be the same old story that we predict before every away league game. Slow boring tippy tippy side to side football until we go behind. Then we start to play but it’s too little too late and we ultimately lose the game.
3-1 Raith Rovers.

This post hasn’t aged well!

Agreed.

Really enjoyed that tbh. High press right to the end, worked really well.

Irving controlling everything, allowed Halliday to get bit further forward. Good stuff.

Much better. Chalk and cheese from Saturday.

Excellent 1st half. Out the traps quick....and a good high press all game.....

I thought Walker and Popescu were excellent tonight

The standard has been set.....

What a great evening’s entertainment... the little flourish at the end was the icing on our cake and the medicine for the Roth Ravers!

However, as much as Rovers got their tactics right on Saturday what on earth were they doing tonight? Trying to play like Liverpool out from the GK played right into our hands.  They should have launched it for up the park and in our faces which has worked for other teams.

Great response from us tonight. Also great to see a debutante get a double coming off the bench. Great start to his career.

Next.
