I'll be happy to see them competing again, getting back up the table, and hopefully getting promotion again some time. FWIW, it appears to be good for him to be moving back home too. I kept following him on Instagram for a wee while and he seemed quite isolated - particularly during Covid - and I don't think he moved out of the hotel room that they put him up in when he first arrived. Poor laddie was probably desperate to get home to see his family. Might have been different if he was playing regularly, but I don't think he got much game time so was probably wondering if it was worth it. Slane and Findlay would have been at Celtic together, but I'm not sure if they're still in touch. I got the impression he mentioned it because he'd seen it in the papers. As for Findlay himself, I'd be optimistic about him but I'd also be slightly cautious about signing any Killie players.
