Even if they hadn't taken pleasure in screwing us over in the summer it would be a bad plan. If he played for St Mirren, then played for us in a league cup game, he wouldn't be able to play for anyone else this season which makes it impossible to get him off the books if that option comes up. If they wanted to pay us £200k for a permanent transfer that might be different. Given their attitude to our expulsion I'll be really unimpressed if we do them a favour. Them paying to get Bobby will cost them more money than not getting Bobby so any financial pressure is increased.
